Are you going to be selling these? I specifically collect Cass-themed fantasy pins and would leap at the chance for a new one (especially with such awesome art!)

After lots of workshopping, here's the final (or nearly final) mock up for me and @xannerz 's Cass enamel pin!! The colors may still change a bit depending on the manufacturer.

We just sent her off for quotes, so we'll have more info on the price and turnaround time soon.

This is just me reading into this too much but !

In Greek mythology, Cassandra was a priestess of Apollon who was cursed so that everyone would ignore her prophecies even when they're true, and Cassandra always feels like she's being ignore and no one would acknowledge her, even when she is the one with the most training to know what to do in situations <3

I am reading these and toying with how well they line up with how I write them in my fics and am having a time.

On the one hand, Arianna's is fantastic, especially the whole 'disagrees with her husband in private' thing. That is a headcanon y'all couldn't pry from me with a crowbar and I love seeing it here. 😊

Fred's...it's good, basically how I see him, with one exception: his relationship with Cass.

TTS PITCH BIBLE: Yeah, he's cool with her. He had a hand in her upbringing. 😎

MY HYPOTHETICAL FIC BIBLE: Can't stand the sight of her. She reminds him of everything he's missing by not having Rapunzel with him and lowkey blames her for the Guard not bringing her back that first night. He's jealous of what Cap's experiencing and does his level best to act as though Cass doesn't exist; if only Cap would make good on that threat to ship her off to a convent...

Basically just having a grand old time. 😁

...Wow.

Honestly, that sounds exactly like something that would have happened in one of those direct-to-video Disney sequels (like 'The Little Mermaid 2' with Ursula's sister). While it *can* work, I think what we wound up with works better; it hurts way more if (a) they were genuinely friends and (b) Cass gets that moment of realizing she's always been disposable.

Personally, I like it better when she doesn’t (all the better for angst and I love writing a character with repressed memories besides). Still, I wonder what that would have been like 🤔
