god this feels good. god, it’s so, so good.

Asa spends so much time coiled tight. like a steel spring. like a funnel-web spider. he feels every little change. the trickling of sand in the hourglass. every tiny vibration in his web. because he must. that is how he maintains such utter control. that is why Asa is absolute.

but god, it feels better than anything to release all that pressure. to thunder down the hall at full speed, breath sawing in and out of his throat, teeth bared in pursuit. his mind is blank. no tensioned wires, no carefully memorized maps, no ticking clocks. just blood and muscle and bone hurtling through this place he knows so well.

and fuck, it’s refreshing to just have it handed to him for once. he relies on split-second intuition for once, instead of meticulously planned choreography. he just so happened to chase you here, you just so happened to bash into that doorframe on your way out. he can’t see you well from here, but he is confident in precisely where you are.

his blade reaches you first, shortly followed by his hands, then his teeth. his entire weight bowls you to the floor, your heart splashing wildly with panic and impact. an uncharacteristic grunt escapes him as he latches onto you, pins you down. Asa has expressed nothing but a blanket desire to maim and mutilate you ever since capturing you. but now, you can read him plain as day now: he’s reveling in this. you can imagine him thinking: “what a perfect creature I am. what a force I have become.” past the mask you can see his upper lip pulled back, exposing his teeth in a snarl. on anyone else it would look like a smile, maybe a malicious grin. but you know better, you know it’s a smile the same way a wolf might seem to smile. his eyes are wide with frenzy. even while your body seizes in pain from his blade, you can feel his body trembling with adrenaline.

Actually, all artists will go insane if you draw art of their art. The same goes for fic writers. It could be a stick figure and we'd still love it. We're also kissing you on the lips

i love that twisted little cycle path teehee. sometimes i wonder if there’s really an audience for fucked up asa or if people prefer him soft. so it’s good to hear there are other collectorheads out there lol
