Everything was wonderful, besides a few mishaps. This was the first time I bought a fruit cup from this store. The blueberries were crunchy, and delicious. The strawberry was a good texture, but was not as sweet as I like it. The pineapple was good, in small delicate chunks of juicy deliciousness. The honeydew, however, was flavourless. And there was only one piece. *one.* As well, the cantaloupe outnumbered everything. It was tasty, the best cantaloupe ever, but the ratio of cantaloupe to anything else was off. Half the fruit cup was cantaloupe. Finally, the grapes were crunchy. Bonus points for how low the price was omg.

This was a berry disappointing experience. I went to the local market (where I work, mind you) and was horrified at what I found. First of all, the fruit had *moved places.* It was across the market, I had to make a whole trek to the new fruit fridge. So, I get there, and I horrifyingly find that my usual assortment of fruits (strawberry, cantaloupe, honeydew, grape, and pineapple) is nowhere to be found. I have to choose between “mango, strawberry, grape” and a few other horrendous fruits. So I chose this one.

I start with my least favorite fruit always. The watermelon was anticipated to be the worst. I bite in, and its terrible. It has that grainy texture, the seeds are repulsive, and I want to cry. Im only 1/4 through this thing. Next I go to the cantaloupe. Its pretty average, it tastes about normal, and Im okay with it. Overall, solid cantaloupe. Next, I start switching between grapes and honeydew. Everything goes downhill. The grapes are crunchier than usual, which is great because I love my grapes crunchy. *However* they lack the sweet, delicate flavour of usually. The honeydew is the worst of all. It is absolutely dense and flavourless, Im breaking down at this point. I want to cry, my night is ruined. This honeydew breaks my heart. This fruit cup breaks my heart. Id rank it lower, but the cantaloupe was good, and everything else could have been worse. Worst fruit cup ever.
