ATTENTION COSPLAYERS: IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT TRIGGER DISCIPLINE

So you’re cosplaying Jake, or Jade, or Yoko, or Dante, or some other badass who carries around guns all the time: here’s a quick tip to make your cosplay of them just that much cooler (and less eye-twitch-inducing for cosplayers who know how to handle a real gun).

If you’re cosplaying a character who knows how to handle guns, then they’re going to know trigger discipline - which is simply unless you plan and are ready to shoot what you’re pointing at, don’t put your finger on the trigger.  (In real life this keeps you from accidentally shooting yourself in the foot or anything else you didn’t mean to shoot.)

So you’re taking a picture holding your gun skywards by your head?  Rest your pointer finger against the body of the gun, or outside the trigger guard.  Aiming at the camera for the kill shot?  NOW you can put your finger on the trigger.

To be honest I did screw up on his leg at the very front-- he's drawn at an angle, and that foot is fairly close to facing you straight on, but the ankle tuft/fur/Ammy-like decoration is drawn as though you're looking at it from the side. I just really liked how it turned out so I decided not to change it.

I was going to make his mask/head shape more like Tails’s, but I realized that he’s a bit like Chibiterasu so I decided to make his head more like Chibi’s than an adult’s.

Oh, no no the shakes are nothing to concern yourself over really. its a thing that developed over time, born of a problem with fine motor skills (that’s what it says on my doctor’s note - means that scissors and art and all that sort of detailed work comes out like a kindergartener’s.) that i CAN over come, with intense focus and concentration.

the energy of that went into going to the dentist for most of a buttload of cavities.

i’m like a harvest moon protag except food and hot springs aren’t guarenteed to restore my stamina bar.

but its all well in hand.

Been seeing more Ushiwaka rp accounts in the past few months.

In every case, I always think "omg this person is so much better than me WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER"

Seriously... I just... I know of one that's very active right now and I just...

So now I'm afraid of asking anyone to rp because their muses are stronger...

I feel like I should give up and everybody writes him better than I do and I should just curl up and die and...
