Chip was a rambunctious little boy, who always running about. When Lumiere was walking briskly down the hallway, he was looking straight ahead and did not even notice Chip until they bumped into each other. Lumiere stumbled back a step or two, caught off guard, but the little one had it much worse. He knelt down to be closer to Chip’s level.
“It’s alright, Chip. That was quite a fall! Are you sure you’re alright?”
“Yeah, I’m alright,” Chip chuckled sheepishly, looking quite ashamed at his blunder. He paused, giving a soft grumble. “...do you think you can maybe get me an ice pack, though? It kinda hurts...”
"Are you hurt?"
“Uh… Oops, sorry,” Chip smiled abashedly, looking up at Lumiere. The boy had run straight into Lumiere while running down the hall, then fell backwards and hit his head on a table. Chip was quite the clumsy little fellow when he was running about. “I’m fine. My head kinda hurts, but it’ll be ok. Sorry for running into you, Lumiere.”
