Why shouldn't people who watched the cartoons be allowed to write for DC? Don't be a snob, the cartoons are just as good as the comics (better because Batman isn't an abusive piece of shit.)

Because the cartoon continuity only sometimes follows the broad strokes of comics continuity, the characters themselves are different people, as are the worlds. I know Elseworlds are confusing but mixing Elseworlds continuity into the main continuity by transposing cartoon canon onto the comics does not make it less confusing and results in some really frustrating untintentional alterations to canon. Speedster lore is being gutted through sheer ignorance right now.

Barry was really going through it when he returned from the dead huh? Everyone else who died are just happy they're back, hell, Hal got to redeem himself and got his city and Barry back. Barry though? Dude was suicidal on sight but everyone loves him too much to let him go back to being dead so he just forces himself to feel normal until he finally stop feeling like shit. I'm glad he's happier now. I just hope DC doesn't fuck him over cause they don't know how to handle both him and Wally.
