Hey guys sorry for not being on yesterday. My city is going through this bad snow storm so my electricity keeps going out, and my wifi too. It should be back to normal soon I promise. I'll try and get replies done as well. I'm so sorry!

I was going for it being a better idea than someone's face.
Sounds like you probably punched the wall quite a few times.

Would you like to find out? You seem a little too curious.
I think the question everyone wants to ask is if the anger issues faded alongside the memory?

Can't decide if I enjoy being oblivious to my past or not. The holes in my walls suggest yes.

Aiden's brows shot up, confused, yet amused. "Alright, you're not Tristan," he said stupidly. He felt rather embarrassed that a girl had witnessed him banging desperately at another man's door, causing a slight flush to stain his cheeks. He quickly composed himself, however, as he leaned against the door frame, giving the girl a smile. "If you're not Tristan, who are you?" He ran a frustrated hand through his messy curls, his unease bubbling in him as he racked his brain for the girl's name. She looked so fucking familiar, yet there was absolutely no connection.
He used the time he had to wait for her response to peek inside the house, once again feeling a slight tug in his heart at the familiarity. Of course he'd been there before, or else he wouldn't have known where to go. His need to talk through his complications were really eating at him now. If he could remember someone like Tristan, how come he couldn't remember the one standing in front of him?
Aiden → Eleanor; "bandage"
There was always that moment of not remembering anything when you first woke up. Your brain was still asleep even though your body wasn’t and it took a while for it to catch up. Eleanor was used to forgetting who she was and where she was when first waking up, but after a few seconds it all comes back. Waking up to pale yellow walls and twinkling lights wrapped around an antique looking vanity caused confusion for the brunette as she sat up from the bed. The feeling was weird; she recognized the room, knew in the back of her mind it was hers, but it didn’t feel like hers. She felt like she was intruding in somebody else’s space, felt like she didn’t belong here. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Eleanor pulled the comforter back, slowly moving her legs to swing off the side of the bed, the lost warmth of the comforter making her shiver.
Eleanor’s joints popped and her muscles felt tight as she stood from her bed, making her want to just lie back down and go back to sleep, thinking that she was just tired and that’s why her mind wasn’t working properly. But she couldn’t bring herself to crawl back into the bed, instead finding herself walking towards the door of the room. As she walked down the halls, Eleanor started to break out of her stupor and panic began to set in. The pictures that were hanging on the wall spoke of a pretty nice family; a mother and father with two kids, one that resembled her and the other who she could faintly recall as her brother. She knew it was her in the pictures, but she couldn’t remember them. Everything was foreign to her and her throat felt like she had swallowed a brick of ice.
The panic settling in the pit of her stomach was rising and she felt it in the back of her throat, the bitterness of it making her want to gag. Eleanor had thought her brain had just been fogged with sleep, but it was so much more than that, wasn’t it? She couldn’t remember a damn thing and no matter how hard she tried to rack her brain for any of the memories from the pictures, she couldn’t remember and it was scaring her.
Entering the pristine kitchen, Eleanor tried to calm herself down; counting to ten backwards and then forwards, taking deep breaths and trying to picture the private beach her family had found on a summer vacation three years ago. None of it was working and the panic continued to rise. It didn’t make sense. She vaguely remembered that she had stayed in last night to watch movies with her mother, but after that, everything was gone. She hadn’t consumed any alcohol in weeks and she didn’t do drugs so what could it be?
Her thoughts were cut off by loud knocking and a male voice shouting. Eleanor felt like she had heard that voice before, but couldn’t think of a name. Walking towards the front door, she contemplated whether or not to open the door. Eventually, her curiosity won and she unlocked it and swung it open, revealing a tall brunette male. “Uh, hi?”

Aiden had already come to terms with the fact that he no recollection of anything from yesterday, or even the time before. No matter how hard her tried to concentrate, his mind drew a blank slate. It was unsettling, to say the least. He tried contacting the few people he had saved in his phone, but he honestly didn't remember much about them either. It was like someone had stolen his whole life and left him confused and vulnerable. Actually, it sort of pissed him off. He was more than determined to gather it back, because it belonged to him. Without his memories and experiences, he had no meaning.
This was his new goal; find his memory, find his meaning. All he knew were the tiny unimportant things, like his name and age. Aiden Lancaster, eighteen years young. That information was the only bit that stuck out most to him, yet it told him close to nothing.
Aiden flipped through his phone, pictures of parties and things he found interesting clogging the memory. A guy, Tristan, he recalled, and a few other females he could only admire without an identity. The pictures tugged at a little spot in his heart, and he smiled, nostalgic. His small moment of reminisce was interrupted by the beeping of his phone, a text by someone called "Audy" -- a nickname, he hoped.
[text: me? I don't think I know someone named "audy".]
Aiden & Audrey || And I'm Trying To Remember
The sunlight crept into the room through a gap between the curtains, blinding the blonde and causing her to wake up slowly. She wasn’t sure what time it was but she guessed it was still rather early in the morning. As she rolled from her stomach to her side, Audrey thought back to last night, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t remember how and when she went to bed yesterday. She blinked her eyes open and after they adjusted to the light, a confused expression spread upon her face. Although, she had no clue where she was, it did seem a little familiar.
Audrey sat up slowly with a soft groan. Since she couldn’t remember a single thing from last night, or just anything really for that matter, she figured she must have been shit-faced and still was. After looking around the room for a second, she noticed a phone on the bedside table, quickly grabbing it and looking through the pictures. Quite a few of a cat, some blurry party pictures and even more of herself and a brunette girl. The pictures that stood out to there, though, were of herself and a curly haired boy. They seemed pretty intimate, but when Audrey scrolled through her contacts and saw a picture of the same boy, she was more than confused. Even though he was saved as ‘douchebaggie’, she decided to text him.
[text: hey you.]

Are you scared you were a bad guy? Maybe you had it in you afterall.
Stop. We weren’t criminals, okay? There’s no evidence to support that, so don’t.

And people say technology is bullshit. Nice to meet you, I think, Macee, I'm Aiden.
That’s… Lovely. Just absolutely perfect. All I have is a couple pictures and the texts on my phone to try and figure out who I was- Am. Who I am. I’m, um… My name’s Macee.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no. Hey if it makes you feel any better I thought I was suffering from a bitch of a headache. Too bad it's become known we've all lost our damn memories, and our minds are probably next. I'd help you find whoever that is, but yeah, my mind pulls up blanks too.
You mean I didn’t just…hit my head or something? I have to find Lorelei… Whoever that is.

Did you just use 'yolo'? Oh god, I'm going to gauge my ears with that shit. And hey, dragonflies are kind of girly but a tattoo is a tattoo. That's badass.
I really hope that I’m not one of those kinds of hippies… but.. whatever. YOLO. It’s just a dragonfly which is kinda weird… I don’t even know if I like it, to be honest.

I was just saying it might have been karma. Doesn't this kind of things happen in movies and books and shit? We could have been assassins, and this is our karma.
It’s so weird though. I mean, how could all of us have lost everything?

Hey don't forget you supported the idea of me hitting people. That makes you an immoral person just like me.
Yeah, sounds about right… I guess you should avoid doing that. That’s the spirit!

How do you know we weren't? Considering we can't even remember a few fucking hours ago, we could have been murderers or robbers or something.
Karma? Doesn’t that only happen to people who do bad things? I don’t want to think that we’re bad people.

Aiden → Eleanor; "bandage"
Aiden had woken up with no recollection of anything. He knew his name, sure, and all the simple things that meant near to nothing to him. However, he couldn't remember why his phone was blasting alarms and reminders for meetings he had no fucking clue about. Tossing the phone away from him, he groaned. He'd deal with whoever put the alarms in his phone as a joke later, because that's the only possible conclusion he could come up with. Aiden had hoped he was dealing with a massive hangover from the night before. I just downed too much liquor and passed out, he told himself.
He rose from his messy bed, tossing the blankets off of him to stand in front of his bathroom mirror. He stared silently, attempting to gather his thoughts from previous days. He got nothing. His mind was drawing a blank and he had no clue why he couldn't remember simple things. He had amazing memory, afterall. "What the hell?" he asked himself, a sudden cold fear settling in the pit of his stomach. He was starting to grow annoyed. Placing his fingers to his temples, Aiden ordered himself to concentrate. He remembered only that he was driving to a party, but with who? For who? How did he even get home? The fact that he couldn't pick up on anything really pissed him off. He could feel his anger building inside him, the same rage he was so familiar with. His fingers clenched until the color was drained into a parchment white. He couldn't control himself when he got this way, no matter how hard he tried. Bringing his fist back, he swung at the mirror. A loud, satisfying crack filled the bathroom and his anger was gone, replaced with a stinging pain to his hand.
"Shit," he cursed, grabbing for a towel to stop the blood oozing out of his glass inflicted wound. He couldn't stay here anymore. He needed air, he needed to get out and find out why he wasn't remembering anything. Grabbing a pair of black jeans, he slipped them on. Making sure to stop the cut, he grimaced when a noticeable scratch painted his knuckles as a pretty reminder of his temper. No time to worry right now, he chastised himself. He reached for a dirty flannel, throwing it over a white t-shirt he had worn the day before.
The only place he could think to go was Tristan's since it was the only person he could talk to. Surprisingly, he remembered the guy. The drive to his house wasn't far as he only lived a few blocks away from Aiden. He rushed from his car, slamming the door behind him.
Running up to the door, he began knocking vigorously. "Dude, open up. This is fucking serious!" He was relived when he heard footsteps coming from inside, but they strangely sounded more feminine than he could remember from Tristan's stomping.
#i was listening to ed sheeran while writing this so it might be sad and sappy omfg#sorry if this sucks btw#p:eleanor
