What if rigth- yk how sum interpretations of clones have tattoos to identify them n to kinda dehumanize them in a way. So what if dei is one of the clones that didn't get a tattoo, maybe cuz he's viewed as runt n not worth the effort. And so deimos identify crisis, u see my vision?

So then one day sanf ask abt it, dei tells him all that and then sanf suggest dog tags. So it's like, to Deimos it's like him getting accepted. Plus it's not as dehumanizing cuz it's a dog tag, u can remove it anytime unlike tattoos.
