River Song is many things: she is a lost a child, she is the protagonist of a tragic romance; she is an action hero. An archaeologist, a thief, a criminal. A saviour. The Time Traveler and The Time Traveler’s Wife combined. And everything is done in a wonderful non-linear narrative, as only Steven Moffat could do it.
