So I started rereading the s class and I have some thoughts

During the fight with luchitas (not sure how that named is spelled) the reason they gave Yoojin the title and the extra rewards was not only because the immoral people needed him to be strong but also because Yoojin literally went limb by limb cutting down the dragon, taking his time and enjoying the pain inflicted. Yoojin is a hunter just as much as Yoohyun, is not more. Yoohyun loves to fight, Yoojin plans and takes pleasure in extending the pain.

Maybe the reason Yoojin's skill in pre-reg was so low in terms of power was because it was awakened in an unfit way, that's why we see in the new timeline that just an "I love you" creates such a difference (something he hadn't said before). --> in the novel it's said that it's because of the doubling of Yoohyun's skills but I'm not convinced since the one who used the doubling was Yoojin not Yoohyun.

Interestingly it didn't stop there. Yoojin also feels a lot of disgust from the thought that people may see him in a female role. He constantly says that he wouldn't like it if people saw him as a dad but that he prefers it over people seeing him as their mom (with his powers). Additionally he consistently shows discomfort over wearing makeup and taking care of himself, which is implied to be because it is a gendered activity.

That's for Han Yoojin himself pretty early on, haha. It was when he applied the keyword to Kim Sunghan, towards the end of Chapter 27. KSH said he didn't mind HYJ saying "I love you" to him, and HYJ suspected it might be because KSH was gay and internally responded with what was essentially EWWWW but in more words. And, then, well. The rest of S-Ranks happens, so you can see why it might be "internalized".

We get lots of flirting in the novel but moments that are about Yuder and Kishiar and only them are rare and short. Most of the time they both talk about work or about future plans and issues. Their tender moments increase with the nivel chapters yes. Yet it still doesn't feel like enough.

Addition: nevermind. It took them about ten chapters but they got there eventually.

For real, Kishiar didn't even want to come inside cause he was afraid of getting Yuder pregnant. Kishiar would never go ahead with a pregnancy that could potentially take Yuder away from him, even if they took every precaution.

Hot take ; I dont want kishiyu to canonically have a kid

(Spoilers for novel up to chapter 620 + some talk of pregnancy) I am only talking about this from the infos we get up to chapter 630 since that's where I am at currently

Idk if its that much of a hot take ? Since I think saw some people wanting it but I'm not that sure they were being really serious. Anyway I seriously think atp Kishiyu having a kid would be completely out of character for the both of them. Well, mostly Kishiar actually.

To preface ; before chapter 620 I didn't care much for potential children + It's still a fun thing to explore in fanfics

What makes me against it is this quote from Yuder ;

He had never contemplated having a child to continue his bloodline. After his grandfather's passing, he never felt the need for kin, as more pressing matters occupied his mind. He was certain this would remain unchanged. But what about the current Kishiar?

Had the man, who had grown accustomed to living as a Duke unable to leave an heir and later became a second gender Awakener, ever entertained such thoughts?

Basically ; Yuder doesn't care about having children or not. He never considered it before, but the second part make it seems like he might agree to it - if Kishiar wants to. Yuder himself doesn't desire a child, and in fact the thought comes solely because he's able to be pregnant. If turning wasnt abo, good chances are that the topic of a child would have never come up.

Besides, with all the love and affection I hold for Yuder, he would be a shit father. The man is emotionnally constipated on an impressive scale - the Cavalry gets surprised when they get an hint of a smile and Gakane had to wait like 500 chapters to be sure of his relationship with Yuder. The only children Yuder interact with are Jimmy, Revlin and Nipollen and he doesn't treat them in any particular way. We have about 0 reasons to believe he would treat his own kid any differently, even if he was fond of them (honestly would make for a neat fanfic............ anyway) .

Yuder being a shit father aside, it takes two to tango, especially to make a kid and here comes the main reason why they wouldn't have a kid ; Kishiar.

Let's be honest, even if Yuder was like 'yeah sure whatever lets have a kid', I doubt Kishiar would agree. Just the fact that Yuder on a personal level doesn't want one, will make Kishiar say no. Because why put to risk the person you love the most for something they don't even want ? 'Cause yeah, Yuder would be the one stuck with 9 month of a fetus gnawing on his ressources and in universe, absolutely NOTHING is known about abo's biology. At the time of the TL2 no pregnancy has been confirmed, and while Yuder does confirm there were some pregnancies in TL1 we have no idea how it actually went - specially since omegas were especially discriminated against back then. It might be better in a few years, but even then pregnancy will remain incredibly dangerous, logically that should be the case cause even in our world pregnancy is faaaaaaaar from being safe.

No doubt Kishiar will therefore say no. Also, he suffered all his life because of his chronic illness (it's a bit more complicated but that's what it is) from his family being too inbred - I don't think Kishiar would be joyful at the idea of possibly having a kid with the same debilitating, painful illness, and while Yuder can force heal it, we've been showned it to be incredibly painful for the receiver and could even lead to their death with Keilusa's case. Would a kid survive that ? Probably not until they're grown up and have already suffered through it, at least. Maybe with some chances they might be born as an awakener but that's not a garantee. To clarify, I am NOT saying kids with illnesses and disabilities don't deserve to live, but if someone has something that can genetically be passed down to their child that can majorly impact their life it's definitely something they have to consider before having one. And potentially spontaneously implode before you're even 20 definitely sounds like something to consider.

And that's even if Kishiar wants one, I haven't had his opinion on the matter yet after all.

Anyway, if Kuyu actually does the legwork to set it up, I could change my mind. But as it stand, slapping it at the end would really just feels like putting a kid here because 'well couples that can have children should have children so here, that completes the romantic happy ending' and tbh that would leave a sour taste in my mouth. Or maybe its just gonna be mentionned in some sort of epilogue and have as much relevance as them getting a dog or smtg, that's possible. Honestly I just don't really see canon kishiyu have children personally, don't know if anyone else agree with me.

Duke Diarma would try to use kiolle as a honey pot, without his knowledge. I imagine that when he heard the rumors about Kiolle and Yuder, he thought that was a wonderful opportunity and a way to destroy the cavalry!

It's well known that Yoohyun wants to attic wife Yoojin but the same would go for Yoojin if he thought the outside world was too dangerous for Yoohyun. I doubt that Yoojin would tell him to have a normal life if Yoojin deemed it too dangerous.
