Headcanon: It's Gold who falls in love first. Yellow is still a bit hung up on Red, but she's started to realize that she can't wait forever for him to notice her. Gold feels like he can never "be first place" (since the girl he likes obviously likes someone else). But Yellow isn't in love with Red- it's a kid's crush. And when she actually falls in love? For the first time? Gold will be happy to know he was her real First Love.
