Pre relationship zosan
During the celebrations taking place after the fall of Kaido, sanji now had time to take in the fact that his skin is no longer soft like your average human... no superficial wounds on his steel like body....
He ends up drinking to drown his sorrows. Zoro finds him, a blubbering mess and is like what is wrong with you.
After sanji confesses how his body can no longer bruise and hes just a weapon Zoro is like no ur not see and bites Sanji on the arm and leaves a mark like nothing
They both 100% forget that zoro has the mouth strength of a tiger bc of his fighting style and any other normal human wouldn't be able to pierce his skin
They eventually agree to have zoro bite sanji to make sure he's still able to be marked since he cant even bruise
Slowly the bites go from hidden underneath sanji's suit to his neck so sanji can touch the bites when he spirals to ground himself

Headcanon that sanji enjoyed being candy chan but once his hair got long enough(at the end of his 2 year training) he looked in the mirror one day and saw his mom
His memories of her are just her stuck in a hospital bed slowly deteoriating. Her face becoming more gaunt, her hair thinning and losing its vibrancy... slowly losing her mobility and voice.
The version sanji is staring back at him is the one where his mother never got sick, looking more radiant with the mascara and eye shadow that brings out the all blue of her eyes... plump red lips and flushed cheeks signifying a full and happy and healthy life despite the hardships she faced.
he freaked out so bad he cut his hair short, grew out his gotee and pushed it all behind him until he was forced to confront everything in whole cake island

Zosan death pact but in zoro's eyes its a marriage proposal.
Sanji : i need you to kill me if im no longer myself
Zoro mind translates it to : stay by my side until death = till death do you part = marriage
After the battle hiyori is hovering over zoro and he's like sorry im not interested and im getting married
This spreads to everyone in wano and each strawhat thinks its someone else so they go along with preparations.
Eventually zosan find out the wedding is for them and sanji freaks out.
Zoro, unphased as ever : makes sense. You did propose... we're the wings of the future pirate king... you hate ur last name... you gave me your life?? Whats the problem?
