So for one of my projects for school at scad which became a personal project is to create a dnd product that can be great as a starter kit for beginners of dnd and for advanced players. I was inspired to design this product from multiple people in the dnd community who thought of it and I wanted to make some art of it. The idea is that the villagers have to protect themselves from the monster attacks. Whether their request on a quest-board was not taken or the adventures left the village and no one’s there to protect them. DMs preference and there is a deck of cards that have the different kinds of villagers with different skills and states based on their job. Essentially the players draw from the deck for every time the player loses their character I am still working out the details of how it works but you mite see more concept art of this in the future. I did a redesign of one of D&D old campaign story. It’s a story about different species of giants working together to destroy and pillage towns and city’s of the kingdom. As you the adventures answer the call to fight back the giant invaders. The original story was a 1st edition story then revamped to a 5th in a book filled with other revamped story’s. But the cover page for the story is an outdated in comparison to the more recent dnd artwork. So I designed it in a way that shows the giants as a threat and the damage they are causing the people. Showing to the viewer/DM/adventures how epic the fights mite be against giants and how intimating they can be to players if they use the book. There is also some mockups and processes work that you can look at.
