random question - have you read star fall (ot1+2 crossover fic) on ao3? your art often has similar vibes imo, but ig it could also just be due to good characterization lol

I LOVE STAR FALL it’s like my favorite fic rn. has me actively checking that every other friday for new chapters because it’s so gooooood like it scratches that itch to see both gangs interact AND in a way that’s like… not just goofs like there’s an active plot going on that im very invested in (ophilia girl please help her) the characterization is jusr. rlly good and i don’t think ever in my life have i been more like. yasss 16 different perspectives please

I’m borrowing rid’s copy of oct2path since squeenix doesn’t want any of their games to go on sale anytime soon :) anyway I finished osvald’s chapter 1&2 and added him to my two person party so here’s my thoughts

I knew I would like osvald when I saw rid play with him lol. His story is very captivating, I like any stories based on any type of love, whether it be friendship, romantic, or familial. I think I really hit some spark of genius when I chose him as my second character! I would do a duopath with him and castti if I could but I think I should finish the game first (the woman who forgor and the man who can’t…both found near the ocean….the potential….).

As for the ending for chapter 2, I think there’s so much potential for analysis that I can’t seem to get into yet either because I haven’t deeply analyzed a piece of media in a while or because I haven’t played a whole lot yet. The possibilities for emerald’s motivations is fascinating :)

favorite song from either game?

ok i’ll give a few different answers because because the soundtracks for these games are so so good…

i’ll be honest, though, i’ve listened to the Ot2 soundtrack wayyyyy more. it’s been my go to non-vocal backround noise recently so i have more of those songs in my brain

overal favorite song… i mean it’s the obvious choice but song of hope is up there. i think the moment it actually starts playing in the game is so fucking good, the vocals and the instrumentals are so good and so agnea and so perfect for her final boss fight…. i just love it.

some other standouts

obviously critical clash (both I and II) shit always goes hard,

out of all of the Journey for ____ Ends, i have a particular fondness for Journey for Kingship ends.

hmmm… some other area themes… I like Toto’hahas a lot, as well as the Hinoeuma ones tbh

and then uhhhh character themes which all go hard but my top 3 would be Partitio, Agnea, and Ochettes imo
