Jurrasic Facts
Jurassic Fact 1: For Jurrasic Park, to glue the skin to the animatronic T-Rex, a guy had to climb inside while it was turned on. If the power turned off, the guy stood a high chance that the metal plates would mangle him, so of course, he was in there gluing and it turned off. Other employees had to force open the jaws and he crawled out of the mouth perfectly okay.
Jurrasic Fact 2: Until they filmed Jurrasic Park, scientists had no knowledge that most, if not all, dinosaurs were like birds. They had a couple that they knew evolved into birds, especially chickens.
Jurrasic Fact 3: The reason they were able to figure this out was because Steven Spielberg wanted the most realistic dinosaurs ever produced for a movie, so he funded a lab of Paleontologists. So, they loaded every bit of data they could onto their new equipment and then rendered how they would seem to walk and one of the scientists went, "Wait. I've seen this before," and pulled a video of a chicken walking. That Paleontologist is named Kevin Padain.
Jurrasic Fact 4: When filming in the rain, they would have to take breaks and dry off the giant T-Rex or it would malfunction. The malfunctions? It would move on its own. Randomly on set, you could hear people screaming bloody murder, even though they knew it couldn't actually eat them.
Jurassic Fact 5: Only 6 minutes of the movie is CGI. Even the Triceratops was a animatronic.
Jurrasic Fact 6: The velociraptors were men in 3 piece suits running around. Also, they weren't technically Velociraptors, but instead Utahraptors.
