Feel like something horrible is going to happen to Zooble in future episodes.

Rewatching the series from the pilot I noticed that Caine's frustration with Zooble is actually gradual, in the first episode he's straight up FINE with them not wanting to participate and actually accommodates for it.

(Even though they inevitably do get involved, because he's just bad at his job sorry Caine).

Only in episode 2 does he try to coerce Zooble into joining, with no success.

And then in episode 3, presumably due to this being a repeat issue he makes tries making the adventure something he thinks they'll like (in his words, JUST for them) and he looks irritated that they don't even show up for it.

(I mean I ASSUME it's irritation. You tell me what emotion this is supposed to convey.) Then he spends the rest of the episode trying to figure out why Zooble doesn't like his adventures, he tries to frame it as a therapy session but it's pretty clear to me this is about HIM and Caine is just trying to make it seem like it's Zooble's problem while also figuring out how to get them to like him.

It goes nowhere until Zooble drops that it's not just them, but NOBODY likes his adventures, and he promptly breaks down at the thought that he's bad at his sole purpose.

And this is where his behavior changes DRAMATICALLY. It could be interpreted as somewhat cute at first with Caine trying to appeal to them, but know he KNOWS that they're not going to like anything he makes, and they put in the seed that the rest of the humans probably think the same way. He's fucking IRATE at Zooble for skipping the fourth adventure in a row and basically forces them to go on it (I know Kinger was the one who proposed taking their place but really, it was Caine's decision).

And then in Spudsy's, Jax and Zooble have THIS exchange, which I REFUSE to believe Gooseworx put in for no reason:

"FORESHADOWING IS A LITERARY DEVICE IN WHICH-"

And now we're at episode 5, which is what convinced me something's going to happen. I'm just going to start and count all the things Caine does in order, he:

Outright threatens them

Absolutely *seethes* whenever they so much as open their mouth (this is a two parter with the first one)

Makes fun of their appearance despite KNOWING they hate how they look

SKIPS ZOOBLE'S SUGGESTION despite NOBODY voting for it

Makes Zooble's evil clone a babbling moron (This might be a stretch but I'm counting it as him being petty and mocking them)

Like good lord, Caine's not even hiding that he absolutely hates their guts at this point. He's tried to tolerate and cater to them with no success, he's been told that he outright sucks at his sole purpose in life, and now he's bitter and downright violent because of it. If Caine was going to crash out and go full AM mode, poor Zooble is in the fucking crosshairs.

And now here's my final point as to why I feel like it's going to be them on the chopping block:

It's all the screen time and character interactions she's gotten.

Their relationship with Gangle is the sweetest thing ever and Their back and fourth with Jax is hilarious. But there's a part of me that feels like *They're going to die,* and Glitch/Gooseworx is making the impact of whatever's going to happen hit as hard as it possibly can.

I really hope I'm wrong because they're my favourite character but part of me is prepared for it. Whatever's gonna happen in episode 6 onward is going to hurt no matter what. I'm ready for the tragedy to be put in abstragedy.

I haven't been on Tumblr in months so sorry if I forgot unspoken rules but I can't exist with this fic idea in my head (angst idea)

Viktor casually sees Jayce kiss Mel where one of his moles are & just wishes that he was Mel so badly. Yearns for Jayce. Or if we're thinking about how pathetic Jayce can be we can think of him kissing Mel where Viktors moles are because he knows what he wants. Bonus points if Viktor is dead for some reason.

Normally I'd just write this crap idea myself but I've been burnt out & I feel bad writing for fandoms when sometimes I don't fully indulge in the content

And the Hound (song hypothesis)

Hello!!! So, I think there is already some analysis of yaelokre songs somewhere. But, since I can’t find them (for some weird reason) I'M MAKING MY OWN!!

It is said that the Hound represents the self, a misunderstood one.

Or in my hypothesis, one that never gets listened

It is told through the song that the Hound is living a lie that's making them go mad in some way, the lie having points of contradictions (the oxymorons in the song) as well as a massacre (“stuck in the middle of a forest made of flesh and bones…” “follow the scent of iron sinking deeper into the corpses rotting”.)

Most of the song describes the way the hound is communicating with someone.

Humming, howling. “Singing me the tale of the Harpy and the Hare”

Apart from describing how you are expressing to no one.

Weeping, talking, telling them stories. All unheard

You can relate this story to Cole, (I don’t know if this is official since I read this in the passage) they were found by a soldier since they were humming to themselves after a terrible attack(?) to they’re village. The Royal (who was the one to attack(?) the village) was in the wrong when it came to destroy it, but it was hidden well enough that there was a moral-okay reason why it happened. Cole was one of the only ones that survived (if not the only one) leading to them knowing the truth. 

But who’ll listen to them? I personally take a big part of their anxious demeanor when expressing themself to be due to people not hearing them, not taking them seriously because ‘They’re just a kid.’ (“A lost little boy who has lost his heart” “Fear’s not enough, they have to tear him apart”) ‘They are probably just making up stories’ (“I’ll tell them all the story, the sun, and the swallow, her sorrow”) 

The Hound is humming a lie, a lullaby. You may tell yourself the white lie that was made to hide the truth, a fabrication of the kingdom that “will sing you to sleep” It may be lying, but have you ever come to wonder if believing the lie is better? The Hound is ignored in the story for a reason. Because it's a liar. They’ll never hear it. Never hear you.

Yes, actually! It’s not much, but it’s honest work.

#1: Cole over-apologizes, and is fidgety. They’re an overall anxious person. This can kind of be seen in some of the art we have of Cole, so I feel like this one makes a lot of sense.

#2: Clemmie is a big gift giver, and will pick up anything “pretty” for Cole, or the others. (Especially Cole, though!)

#3: Kingsley overall loves bugs and will keep them as pets. They hate killing bugs, and is the kind of person to pick them up, and bring them outside if necessary. (This isn’t b/c of the cricket thing!)

#4: Perrine is the only one that curses. This one might be a little iffy, I’m not sure. I don’t think they’d drop the dreaded f-bomb, or call the others names or anything, just simple things like, “Shit!” or, “Damn,” under their breath.

I’m sure I’ll come up with more as we see new lore unfolding and new music being released, but this is what I have for now! Thanks for asking. ˙ᵕ˙
