GrooveMail is new and cutting edge, with a clean and user-friendly dashboard.

Since GrooveMail is one of the primary Groove apps, it has a dedicated developmental team who are continuously improving GrooveMail with the aim to make it one of the best autoresponders in the marketplace.

Now, let’s put this into perspective and compare the GrooveMail pricing with a few other autoresponders on the market.

GrooveMail Vs GetResponse

On the lowest-priced GrooveFunnels account at $99 per month, you can have up to 10,000 contacts.

Compare this to GetResponse on a plan that only offers some of the benefits you get with Groove and you’ll need to pay $165 per month for 10,000 subs.

GrooveMail Vs ActiveCampaign

If you went with ActiveCampaign then you’re looking at $125 per month on their most basic plan with limited autoresponder features.

GrooveMail Vs Aweber

If you went with Aweber, who is one of the most affordable autoresponders in the industry then you’d pay $69 per month. However, you would not get all the other features that GrooveFunnels offer.

If you are only looking for an autoresponder and the price was your primary consideration then Aweber may be a better choice for you.

However, if you want an autoresponder with more advanced automation and segmentation features, and you want to use at least one of the other apps that come with GrooveFunnels then you’ll be better off with Groove, in my opinion.

With any new software product, you may have a few questions before you decide to use GrooveMail. Here are some of the most common questions that people have been asking.

Can You Get GrooveMail For Free?

Yes, as of recently, Groove has changed the features that come with the free GrooveFunnels plan.

When they first launched, the free plan only came with the GroovePages app, GrooveSell app, and the GrooveAffiliate app.

However, as of very recently, People who sign up for the free GrooveFunnels plan get access to all the apps, including GrooveMail.

Can I Import Lists And External Contacts In GrooveMail?

Yes, if you already have an email list hosted with another autoresponder company and you want to switch to GrooveMail, then you will be able to import your lists and contacts so you can move your subscribers over to your Groove account.

Can I Send SMS Messages With GrooveMail?

Yes, GrooveMail has a feature to send SMS messages to your subscribers in GrooveMail. This function is not yet fully operational but is coming soon.

If you want a great deal on the number of email subscribers you can have in your account for the price you pay then using GrooveMail is a great choice.

If you’re purely shopping around for an autoresponder based on price alone then go for Aweber.

However, if you want more powerful autoresponder features, and you want to use any of the other apps that come with Groove that I’ve listed in this GrooveMail review, such as the landing page builder, video hosting, members areas, etc, then GrooveFunnels is the way to go, in my opinion.

In my opinion, one of the best business models to leverage online is affiliate marketing. However, there are several ways you can build your affiliate business.

Nowadays, a lot of new affiliates are focusing on social media, YouTube or paid ads to bring traffic to their offers. This is partly because it’s easier to get started with those methods and also partly because some of the “guru’s” are saying that SEO is dead.

Well, as someone who primarily focuses on affiliate SEO, I can tell you that this is just not true. Affiliate SEO and blogging is still very well and alive today, which is why well-known and successful affiliates are still creating, and updating affiliate SEO courses.

I also believe that affiliate SEO is one of the most passive ways of building an affiliate business, although, of course, like anything, it is not completely passive.

What I mean is that once your sites are built, ranking, and making money, you can still continue to earn an income from those sites even if you don’t work on them as regularly as you did when you were getting them going.

I have sites that I haven’t worked on for months that still earn me regular commissions. At the very least, all I now need to do to those sites is update some content now and then to maintain them. And at any point I want to continue growing them I can just put more time into them to take them to the next level.

However, affiliate SEO does take time to master, and you need to get the right information to learn how to do it properly, or you’re just gonna be wasting your time.

My Top 3 Affiliate SEO Courses To Get You Started Or Scale Your Business

From being in the industry for a few years now, I know that there are more than 3 good affiliate SEO courses out there. (I also know that there are several shit ones as well).

I can’t speak for courses that I haven’t taken myself, so in this article I am going to give you insight into 3 affiliate courses that I have personally taken.

While I have personally had success with each of these 3 courses, not all of them are right for everyone.

Here’s a closer look at each course to help you decide which is right for you.

The Authority Site System (TASS) – by Authority Hacker

The Authority Site System is an affiliate SEO course put together by the guys behind Authority Hacker, Gael Bretton and Mark Webster.

Gael and Mark are personable guys with many years of experience in the SEO and blogging industry. They used to run a successful SEO agency, but sold it several years ago to pursue affiliate SEO.

They’ve had tremendous success with their own affiliate sites and now teach other people to build and scale affiliate websites.

Authority Hacker actually has 3 courses available:

The Authority Sites System (TASS)

Authority Hacker Pro

Authority Hacker Pro Platinum

In this article I am only talking about The Authority Sites System (TASS), since the other 2 courses are for more experienced affiliates.

What’s In The Authority Site System (TASS)?

TASS is a course aimed at beginners who are just getting into affiliate SEO and covers everything from choosing a niche, analyzing the competition, keyword research, building your site, how to write and structure content, and link building.

Gale and Mark only teach white hat methods when it comes to link building, which was one of the main reasons I bought this course.

Even though I was not a beginner when I joined TASS, up until that point my primary link building method had been PBN’s (which I have now moved away from using).

I personally joined TASS to learn the white hat link building methods and for more detailed instruction on content writing.

I must say, I have been very impressed with all of the content inside of TASS. It is a very thorough, well organized, and well structured course.

SEO can be quite confusing to learn, but the way that Gael and Mark have put their course together makes it easy for anyone to follow.

The modules are extremely detailed and are a great way to get started in affiliate SEO. Personally, I wish this course had been available when I first started my SEO journey.

The aim of the course is to teach you how to set up and scale an affiliate site to at least job replaying income level for most people, which would be around $3,000 – $5,000 per month.

What I Like About TASS

One of the things I also really like about TASS is that it is updated regularly, and all existing members also get access to new and updated content. This means that you’ll only need to pay one time and you will continue to access all the updates.

Another thing that I particularly like about the course is that the niche selection and competition analysis module is very comprehensive.

This is an area that a lot of new affiliates struggle with, so, in my opinion, TASS’s method of niche selection is one of the best I have seen so far for newbies.

What I Don’t Like About TASS

There’s not a lot to like about TASS, it really is a great course. However, if I had to say one thing then it’d be that, although overall it is good to have a lot of information when it comes to building an affiliate site, some of the modules could be a bit overwhelming and unnecessarily detailed for beginners.

Having said that, this is largely negated by the way Gale and Mark have structured the course. It is impressively well-organized.

The Affiliate Lab – by Matt Diggity

I had heard of The Affiliate Lab and Matt Diggity for a few years, but I only joined the program at the beginning of 2020.

I joined The Affiliate Lab because I wanted to learn more advanced SEO techniques and also how to build a site to the point where I can flip it for at least 6 figures.

That’s not to say that The Affiliate Lab is only for people with SEO experience though.

While it does have more advanced training than TASS, it is also taught from the beginning up, and trains newbies at every step of the way to build and grow an affiliate site.

The Lab also has a beginners module which goes into the basics that you need to know before moving onto the advanced stuff.

When you first join the Lab you will notice that Matt and his business partner, Jay, have broken the core part of the course into two secretions; Niche Sites and Authority Sites.

Matt and Jay explain the difference between the two, and have detailed modules on how to build each kind of affiliate site depending on your preference.

The content in The Affiliate Lab is vast, detailed, and well presented. However, it’s not as easy to navigate as TASS, in my opinion.

What’s Inside The Affiliate Lab?

There is a tremendous amount of information in the Lab and will take you quite a bit of time to go through it all, so it’s a course you will be referring back to for a long while as your skills improve over time.

The core Affiliate Lab module itself contains a load of content that will take some time to go through.

However, as you grow, Matt and Jay also teach you the proper way to do email marketing, how to do proper outreach to grow your site, how to flip your site for a large payday, and how to grow a team and outsource your business.

What I Like About The Affiliate Lab

I actually have quite a few things I really like about this course.

Firstly, it’s very detailed with a lot of content that will help you on your affiliate journey for a long while.

Like TASS, Matt and Jay also frequently update the training videos or add to the course with new modules so it is regularly updated. Existing members do not pay for any updates to content or even new modules, which is awesome.

For example, the Portfolio Playbook module, which is all about building a team and outsourcing various parts of your business, has only recently been added to The Affiliate Lab.

Since I’m already a member I also get access to this new training, which I didn’t’ know they were going to add when I first bought the course.

Matt and his team, and also a few of his close SEO buddies have a very large portfolio of sites and test tistesd between them, so whenever a new Google algorithm update comes round, these guys knuckle down and figure out exactly what those changes are.

They then share this info with us in the group. So if you’re a member of the Lab then you’ll also get updates on any important algorithm changes after they happen.

This is crucial information for an SEO.

The Lab also has a very active Facebook group with some very experienced members willing to help you out with questions.

What I Didn’t Like About The Affiliate Lab

While the content is very well put together, and reasonably well structured, it is not as organised as TASS.

One thing in particular that I wish was organized in a better way is that there is some crossover between training videos for the niche site and authority site module. This is because some videos cover the same info, so why not just refer to those videos. But, in some cases, I found some things not so clear.

SEO Affiliate Domination – by Greg Jeffries

SEO Affiliate Domination is an underground affiliate SEO course that came out around 2017.

In the course, Greg teaches two methods, how to build authority sites, and how to build mass page sites.

The content on authority sites is very basic, but it can help to get you off to a good start. However, where SEOAD really shines is the mass page site method.

The mass page site method works by using a mass page plugin to spin lots of content based on the keywords you input, with the aim to rank for very low competition, long-tail keywords.

When I first came across this, I did not think it would work as I thought that spun content will just not rank in Google or the other search engines. However, Greg has a lot of video testimonials for SEOAD so I decided to give it a go.

After trying the method for myself I found out that this is wrong, and mass pages sites can rank.

Although spun content will rank, it will not rank for any high volume keywords. How this method works are that your spun articles start to rank for very low competition keywords simply because the search engines don’t have any results to show for those queries.

Greg also teaches you to build these sites on expired or auction domains, which have power from an established backlink profile.

Greg then also teaches a few ninja tricks to actually get these pages to convert into sales.

After seeing this method I decided to use one of my old PBN’s that I still had set up, and try this method as an experiment. I was pleasantly surprised to see after a few months that this site had started to make sales.

I have tried this method a few times now and have generated quite substantial commissions from the sites that have taken off.

A word of warning though with this method, not every site you set up with this method will set up, and they may also have a limited lifespan. So generally, it is a churn and burn model.

The reason I have included it in this list is that it is easy to do, it is the fastest way that I have come across to earn money with affiliate SEO, and, basically, it works, which I explain in more detail in my SEOAD review here.

What’s Inside SEOAD?

The majority of the content is around how to set up either an authority site or a mass page site. However, there is also content on how to use other traffic sources such as YouTube to generate affiliate commissions.

Greg has recently relaunched a new and updated version of this course in November 2020, which now also includes mode detailed info, new techniques, and weekly coaching calls.

What I Like About SEOAD

One thing I particularly like about Greg and SEOAD is that Greg is very transparent and down to earth.

He doesn’t hide anything from you, he reveals how much money he is making with his methods (which is a lot), and even which products he is promoting. This is rare in the sEO community, but Greg claims that he is not afraid of competition because the playing field is so vast, which I also agree with.

The mass page method is quick and easy to set up, and the sites that take off can earn you a lot of money if you promote the right products.

What I Don’t Like About SEOAD

The authority site modules are basic in SEOAD. If you’re only interested in building authority sites then SEOAD is not for you, go for TASS or The Affiliate Lab instead.

Although the mass page sites can work very well, it is a somewhat spammy method as you are essentially flooding the search results with spun content.

While I’ve had one mass site last for almost 2 years, and it’s still going strong at this point, most of the sites you set up using this method will likely have a short lifespan. Therefore, you will need to build new sites on a fairly regular basis.

Affiliate SEO Courses For Beginners – My Final Thoughts

Overall, all 3 of these courses contain great information, and I have had success with the content in each of these courses.

My overall favourite for my current level and understanding of affiliate SEO is The Affiliate Lab. It’s very detailed with lots of advanced information.

However, if I had to recommend one course to beginners then I would say TASS. TASS is very well put together for people who are either new to SEO or haven’t been doing it all that long. IT is well structured so you can easily follow along and not get lost or overwhelmed.

TASS will help you to get clarity on a good niche to work in, it gives you a few great keyword research methods, and some excellent ways to build links and get your site moving.

ClickBank has been around for more than 17 years and is an excellent choice for those new to affiliate marketing.

While not all of the products you will find on this platform are great, they certainly do have an impressive range. Furthermore, many of the products available here aren’t available on any other network. It’s also easy for both vendors and marketers to join, which can be very beneficial.

There are many entrepreneurs and bloggers that sign up for ClickBank. Lifestyle and digital products are commonly found on the platform. These niches provide a lot of scope for advertisement through websites and blogs, which is one thing that makes them so attractive.

People also appreciate that ClickBank pays quickly. ClickBank offers commissions as high as 75%, and on top of that, they pay out weekly, holding only 2 weeks commissions in arrears in case of refunds. Some of the brands that have partnerships with ShareASale are very well-known, and some of them also offer very good commissions.

It’s important to know that each product vendor will set their own commission level. Qatar Airways also has a ShareASale affiliate program so there really is a lot of scope here.

When you’re just starting out, you may find that metrics can help you with site optimization and learning affiliate marketing basics.

This platform can be highly educational.

However, it should be noted that the network is a better fit for beginners that have at least three months of experience under their belts.

Having experience isn’t a requirement, but it will help you get more out of the platform, especially early on. There’s a lot to learn about affiliate marketing. Even if you have a few months of experience, you’re still a beginner.

The affiliate network works with individual traders rather than brands.

Etsy has no major competitors within their niche. In a matter of just a few years, they’ve gone from nothing to become a company that is publicly traded.

There are more than 1,000 merchants that offer products through Impact. This program is an excellent option for newcomers that have yet to select a niche.

There are countless options available, from technology to tourism.

It can take a while to sign up for the platform. There is a detailed verification process that could involve phone conversations.

Not everyone is approved for the platform, which might be what you’re looking for. Joining isn’t exactly difficult, but the process can be time-consuming.

Because of this, the network is considered to be dependable and has a stellar reputation. Merchants are more likely to remain with the platform because the quality of the affiliate marketers is high.

Major brands often leave affiliate platforms. This is less likely to occur with Impact because of its high status.

It has a $25 minimum payment threshold, which can be motivating for marketers. This is a threshold that most beginners can achieve without issue.

There are two different payment methods available: direct transfer and PayPal. If you opt to use PayPal, you may be responsible for a fee of 2%.

Impact is one of the most consistent affiliate marketing networks around. It’s highly reliable and has steadily increased in popularity.

If you’re working in the internet marketing niche then GrooveFunnels is a great choice of product to promote.

As a beginner, you need to think carefully about which affiliate program you’d like to use. It’s often better to start out with a single platform. It’s possible to move on to different platforms as your business expands.

Taking those factors into consideration, my recommendation is for beginners to start out with ClickBank or Shareasale.

While these networks may not have the same high-quality products that other networks offer, they provide beginners with all the tools they need to succeed.

GroovePages is one of the latest funnel and landing page builders on the market, and it’s been causing quite a storm.

Mike Filsaime, the creator of several super-successful software companies including Kartra, WebinarJam, and EverWebinar, he is also the guy behind GroovePages.

As you can imagine, Mike’s got a great track record and a lot of credibility in the industry.

Mike’s company is called GrooveDigital, and GrooveFunnels is his new all-in-one business software toolkit, of which, GroovePages is one of the primary features.

Mike and his business partner, John Cornetta, have managed to get more than 75,000 people to open a GroovePages of GrooveFunnels account even before they have officially launched.

To put this in perspective, one of Groove’s leading competitors, ClickFunnels, has around 120,000 users at the time of writing this article.

GroovePages Features – What You Get

Now I’m gonna tell you about the GroovePages features and benefits so you can have a clear idea of exactly what you can do with it and how it may also benefit your business.

Unlimited Sales Funnels and Landing Pages

GroovePages has many incredible features, but one of the best is its unlimited landing pages and sales funnels that you can create.

Furthermore, you never have to pay extra for the feature, unlike most other landing page and funnel builders that limit the number of pages you can have in your account, unless you pay them more money, of course.

Using the landing page builder is also very simple.

Not only that but it will also rank well in Google and have superior page load speed times to its rivals.

And did I mention that you also won’t need to pay anything for a hosting account?

Nope, Groove even provides the hosting for you, so you’ll also save money on your web hosting costs.

Websites created with GroovePages can include menus and navigation pages. You’ll find that most page builders can’t do this.

Using the Groove page builder, you can easily add text, change colors, increase or reduce font sizes, and more.

For example, if I wanted to resize the image below, all I have to do is click it and look to the menu options on the right. In that section, I can easily manipulate the image as I please.

The canvas used on the website editor is both intuitive and simple to use. It’s easy to customize your work by simply clicking on a block of text and changing the content.

Design Complete Websites with Navigation and Funnel Pages

Using GroovePages you no longer have to worry about creating a complete website from scratch yourself, or paying an expensive designer to build it for you.

Being a website builder myself, and knowing how much time and effort goes into it, this one of the main reasons I recommend GroovePages to my clients and customers.

The website editor is intuitive, fun to use, and has been created with some of the latest software tech on the market today.

I also particularly like that I can create both my website and funnel from one dashboard and connect them easily, since they both operate using the same tech.

This alone makes it much less likely that your business will have integration glitches.

With that being said, some of the elements do malfunction sometimes, but that’s because GroovePages is still currently in beta.

However Mike and his team are always on it, and they aim to make it solid and reliable software program by the time the official launch date comes round in October 2020.

Their aim is to make it even more robust and reliable than the other leading landing page builders in the industry.

If you’re not tech-savvy, or if you’ve never built a website or landing page before, then GroovePage is a great option for you.

The pre-designed blocks are great for those who want to get their website or landing page set up and functioning quickly, without having to spend months learning how to do it.

All you have to do is click the “Blocks” tab located on the left panel, then drag and drop the blocks into the editor.

Once the blocks are in place, you can then simply change the text to whatever you want, and customise the features if you need to.

In my opinion, using GroovePages will save you save lot of time.

Wireframe Blocks

Another great feature of GroovePages is Wireframes.

If you want to do a good job, then you’ll want to plan your site before you design it.

Wireframes will help to map out the design of your website, landing pages and funnels so you can then work quickly to implement.

In other words, they provide you with a visual framework for your site.

This feature will also be great for web designers who want to sell their services and show wireframes to potential customers.

This helps to walk a client through a website’s structure before you spend the time creating it.

The other page builders and drag-and-drop editors on the market don’t have a wireframe feature.

Email Marketing Integration

One of the most important things any online business can do is to build and nurture an email list.

GroovePages also integrates with over 20 leading autoresponders, including ConvertKit, Aweber, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse, and more.

If there’s a software program you want to integrate with that’s not on Groove’s integration list, no worries. Groove integrates with Zapier, which then allows you to integrate with anything.

If you upgrade to a paid GrooveFunnels plan then you’ll also get the use of Groove’s own built-in email autoresponder, known as GrooveMail.

Up-sell and Down-sell Pages

GroovePages allows you to use up-sell and down-sell pages in your funnels, even in the free version of GroovePages.

Using up-sell and down-sell pages is a great way to lead your customers through your funnel and show them then exact products that may benefit them the most.

This way, you are able to considerably increase the the value you can offer to your customers, and, of course, the sales that you will make in the process.

If someone does not take you up on your up-sell offer, then you can divert them to a lower priced down-sell option, before they are lead to the ckecouet page.

Your up-sell and down-sell pages will integrate directly with GrooveSell, so your customers’ shopping cart will by dynamically updated depending on which products they choose to buy form you as they move through your funnel.

Order Bumps

Another essential parts of a good sales funnel it help you increase your revenue is the Order Bump feature.

I use popups in my business on several websites I own. When I use them to collect emails they make a huge difference to how quickly I can build my list.

Google Maps

GroovePages integrates directly with Google Maps. This is a great feature for local businesses.

This feature will, of course, help your customers find you. However, it will also give you additional SEO benefits and help your pages rank in Google’s organic map listings in Google search.

If you run a local business then you already understand how important this is.

Countdown Timers

Countdown times are a great way to provide urgency, and they can increase your conversion rate considerably.

By setting an end time for a special offer that you’re running, you can create urgency and scarcity in the minds of your visitors.

GroovePages also allows you to use progress bars, which is an excellent conversion tool.

Use them on pop-ups and landing pages so that your visitors can see how many steps they need to complete to move through your funnels.

With GroovePages, you can quickly and easily embed your checkout forms into your checkout pages.

The Groove Academy Library has loads of training videos to show you how to do anything you need to do in GroovePages, including how to use the embed checkout forms feature.

Viral Marketing Integration

As I mentioned earlier, Groove CEO, Mike Filsaime, is known for his expertise in marketing.

Groove Digital is currently working on integrating one of Mike’s marketing concepts, known as Butterfly Marketing.

Similar to viral marketing, the Butterfly Marketing concept is based on the theory that when a butterfly flaps its wings, a tiny change happens in the atmosphere, and a tidal wave of events trigger virally.

I need to play around with GroovePages a little more to confirm this first, but at the moment I believe this is possible.

Free SSL Certificate

Today, all websites need to use an SSL certificate to keep user’s data secure.

Google now also includes the use of a valid SSL certificate as a ranking factor. This means that you’ll get a slight ranking benefit just by using an SSL. It’s all part of Google’s plan to make the internet more secure.

It’s also important to know that many browsers, including Chrome and Firefox won’t show a page if it doesn’t have a valid SSL certificate.

With a free CloudFlare account, you can install a free SSL certificate onto any of your pages built with GroovePages.

GroovePages LITE vs GroovePages Pro

By now, you probably realise that there’s a groovePages LITE and a GroovePages Pro.

Basically, the GroovePages LITE is the version you can currently get for free if you sign up for a GroovePages account before the end of the the promotional period in October 2020.

The second reason that using YouTube is not ideal is that after your videos have finished playing, YouTube will then show your site visitors other suggested videos to watch after. This can distract them form taking action on your offer.

The alternative would be to pay for a service like Vimeo or Wistia. But these services can cost you hundreds of dollars per year.

How Groove Affiliates Get Paid

The company behind GrooveFunnels, GrooveDigital, use their own affiliate management and tracking system, which is known as GrooveAffiliate.

If you’ve signed up for either a free or paid GrooveFunnels account then you can also use this same software to recruit affiliates to promote your own products. That is, is you have your own products to sell.

As I previously mentioned in this article, if a person clicks your link and opens a free account and then upgrades to a paid account later, you then get paid.

And, of course, if they sign up directly for a paid account after clicking your link then you get paid.

20% Commissions

If you are a free user of GroovePages or GrooveSell then you get 20% commissions for each paid member who has signed up through your link.

40% Commissions

If you have a paid GrooveFunnels account at either the Platinum level ($299 per month), or if you signed up as a GrooveFunnels Backer before or during the launch and you paid $1,397 as a one-time fee for the GrooveFunnels Platinum account then you will get paid 40% affiliate commissions on all your sign ups.

2-Tiered Affiliate Program

Another unique thing about the Groove affiliate program is that it is 2-tiered.

This means that you will also earn a smaller commission on any or the affiliate referrals made by anyone who has signed up under you.

If you are a free Groove user or if you are on the Silver ($99 pm) or Gold ($199 pm) plan, then besides the 20% commissions for all your direct referrals, you will also get an additional 5% commissions paid to you on anyone who signs up for a paid account through someone that you referred.

If, however, you are a GrooveFunnels Platinum member of a Backer, then you get 40% commissions on level one sign ups, and 10% on level 2 sign ups.

Since this affiliate program also pays monthly recurring payments, this can quickly add up!

If you’re on the 40% level and you sign up just one person who happens to be a big influencer (lucky, but it happens), this 10% you will receive on all of those referrals can be life-changing.

Besides being interested in using the GrooveFunnels software myself, the 40% and 10% tier-2 commission structure is the main reason I chose to pay the $1,397 to be a Groove Backer.

When Do Affiliates Get Paid?

GrooveFunnels pays its affiliates on a weekly basis. However, you will need to have made at least two sales before you start getting paid.

Since there is a 30 day money back guarantee when someone signs up for a paid Groove account, you will need top wait until this window has passed for you to be eligible to receive your commissions.

There is also a further 7 day period in case of refunds, so you will actually get paid around 37-42 days after the sale has been made.

When you first make a sale, it will show up in your account, but you will also see $0 next to the sale for 14 days. This is because the the is also a 14 day free trial period.

Once this 14 day trial period has passed, your commission amount due will show up in the statistics area of your GroooveAffiliate dashboard.

What Happens If I’m On 20% Commissions But I Upgrade Later To A Paid Plan?

This is a good question, and one I wondered about myself.

If you are already promoting Groove as a free member and, therefore, are receiving 20% commissions, but then you upgrade your own account later to become eligible to promote Groove and receive 40% commissions, then any sales made before the time you upgraded will still be paid to you at 20%. And any commissions you earned after the time you upgraded will be paid to you at 40%.

Can I Make Money Promoting GrooveFunnels?

Yes, absolutely! There are lots of affiliates right now earning sizeable commissions promoting GrooveFunnels. Some are even earning a full-time income from their efforts.

GrooveKart

This is one of the stand-alone E-commerce platforms which is similar to Shopify. It is different in the way that it offers the most well-known and popular Shopify apps for free.

If you are one of the Shopify users, then you are aware that this could save you a lot of money on apps that are now for free.

Even though using this platform on the GrooveKart website costs $497 a year, or $99 a month, you can still access the site for free when you sign up on GrooveFunnels with a paid membership.

If you are involved in E-commerce, you will know how valuable this feature is when comparing the pricing from a competitor like Shopify.

It also offers various unique options when it comes to shipping and Print-on-demand that usually cost an additional fee on other similar platforms.

GrooveMember is one of the other fantastic features, allowing you to build your own membership site.

Similar to other features, GrooveMember doesn’t disappoint.

It is basically like other membership site builders, like Kajabi and Thinkific.

Ability to create either paid or free courses

Similar to all the other features associated with this software, GrooveMember is also constantly evolving. Once fully developed, it will also offer certification options. At this stage, it still competes with other popular membership-site platforms.

If you are not interested in using GrooveMember, it also natively integrates with many of the well-known member-site platforms.

GrooveMail

If you are operating an online business, then you are probably aware of the importance of email marketing.

GrooveMail eliminates the need for external autoresponders and assists you with following up with existing lists to bring in more sales.

Is It Any Good?

At this stage, GrooveMail is a feature that is currently in beta. However, the people responsible for this part of the software have plans for this solution to match up to other popular services like ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit.

Once it rolls out fully, it is expected to feature all-inclusive automation features, email templates, tagging, and SMS gateway functionality.

You can expect to make use of many triggers, or as named inside GrooveMail “conditional splits”. There will also be many tagging options to choose from.

At the moment, not all of the triggers are available just yet. However, they will be released in the next few months, and I cannot wait to see them.

GrooveFunnels has already mentioned that there is going to be a lot more triggers to come and these will allow for many advanced-automation sequences.

GrooveMail is among the newest additions to this platform, which was launched in September 2020. It still requires a bit more work in regards to its development.

GrooveQuiz is a feature that allows you to quiz an audience.

Quizzes are excellent ways in which to engage with an audience, as well as direct them through to sales processes.

This might also offer an opportunity for many developers to sell and create plugins within the Groove platform along with the potential to earn added revenue. However, this is just my opinion on that.

GrooveVideo

Many of the online businesses of today use videos. Whether this involves a sales letter video on a landing page. Or when you are looking to create many videos for your paid-membership area, in most cases video-hosting fees quickly add up.

One of the alternatives is to host free videos on YouTube. However, when visitors to your site click on a video, they are taken off the landing-page to YouTube.

When this happens, you are at risk of losing sales.

This is the reason why many marketers make the decision to rather pay for video-hosting services such as Vimeo. At the same time, this could mean that you can expect to pay an additional $99 every month.

With GrooveVideo, you can host as many videos as you like for free from your account.

If you need a support-desk then the GrooveDesk is also going to save you a lot of money on 3rd-party support apps like ZenDesk.

Since GrooveDesk is found in the same spot as GrooveSell, it makes it easy to directly manage your sales actions such as refunds, all from one dashboard.

Besides your own support suite, if you ever need help with your own Groove account, they have great support and you can reach GrooveFunnels support here.

GrooveCalendar

This is one of the calendar apps, similar to Calendly.

The app allows you to collect payments (through GrooveSell), schedule appointments with clients, and manage meetings, all from one place.

Once again, using this feature within the entire Groove eco-system is very useful since it does away with having to use a host of different types of software.

GrooveSurvey

This is a feature that provides a way to send surveys to audiences so that you can gather important data from these people.

Running a survey allows you to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of any issues that your audience is currently facing, what they want, and even how they feel about your business.

From here you can tailor your services or product to solve such issues which ultimately leads to more conversions.

You can run your surveys in separate pages that you can either combine with other things you have built in Groove or via email.

GroovePages For Shopify

Something else that I was impressed by is the fact that you can integrate GroovePages with Shopify with the use of a separate application.

This is useful for those that already have successful E-commerce stores on Shopify, especially when they don’t want to move the store.

When buying GrooveFunnels, access to the app is free, in the cases when you have one or more stores that you prefer not to move into GrooveKart.

Reading his books and looking through his other material, I kept coming across the phrase, “You’re just one funnel away.” If you’re reading this then you’ve probably also come across it yourself.

Russell uses this slogan to emphasize how effective sales funnels can be to generate a massive amount of income in your business. However, it is also especially related to the One Funnel Away Challenge. Let me explain below.

What Is The One Funnel Away Challenge?

The One Funnel Away Challenge (OFA) is a 30-day challenge issued by Russell Brunson and his team at ClickFunnels.

The aim of the challenge is to help business owners and entrepreneurs set up from start to finish a powerful sales funnel to either sell their own product(s), sell other people through affiliate marketing, or build an email list.

Basically, if you haven’t got a profitable online business yet the OFA Challenge is a business in a box. If you’re already in business but are struggling or want to increase your revenue then the OFA Challenge will help you to make a massive increase in the sales that you are currently making.

Do I need my own product to sell?

Some people think that in order to do the OFA Challenge you will need your own product. However, this is not true at all.

If you do not have your own product then you can do the One Funnel Away Challenge and create a funnel that sells other people’s products and make money as an affiliate.

For example, you can sign up as a ClickFunnels affiliate and promote ClickFunnels as well as all the other products that Russell Brunson has. One of the best things about being a ClickFunnels affiliate is that you can also earn a recurring monthly commission on the sales you make.

If you have your own product to promote then, by all means, use the OFA Challenge to build a sales funnel to promote your own stuff.

However, the OFA Challenge is also for people who do not have their own product or are even completely new to online marketing.

What is my commitment to the challenge?

The challenge will be run over the thirty days and you will need to commit to around two hours per day in order to watch the daily training video and then complete the mission.

We all have busy lives. However, this isn’t a massive commitment in my opinion if you are serious about building a successful online business. The OFA Challenge also has the ability to make you very wealthy if you seriously commit to it.

You can schedule the time as you like. One hour early in the morning, then one hour at night or both hours back to back. Whatever suits your schedule.

You don’t need to learn, master and use all ten funnels, you only need one. In this section, Russell saves you a ton of time by explaining what each one is used for and their pros and cons.

The first part of day two (section three), Russell explains the first three funnels which he put into the category of Lead Funnels. The three types of lead funnels are;

Survey Funnel

Summit Funnel

The primary goal of a lead funnel is to collect the visitors email address.

In section four, Russell then goes on to break down the next category of the funnel, which he calls, Unboxing Funnels. The three types are;

Book Funnel

Cart Funnel

Challenge Funnel

I personally found it really interesting to see all the different uses for each funnel type. For example, the book funnel is not only used for selling books, as I originally thought. It can also be used to sell all kinds of digital products.

The Cart funnel is particularly used to sell commerce products. Russell goes through several successful examples so you can see real-life examples of cart funnels that have made people millions of dollars online.

If you have been through the One Funnel Away Challenge then you have been through a Challenge funnel. This funnel type is particularly effective at indoctrinating a person into your business and also sell them multiple products.

Before you start thinking Kartra is on the expensive side, it is important to know that each and every Kartra plan has additional functions, which I have listed below.

Using these functions on your Katrar plan can literally save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars (depending on how large your business is) as you will no longer need to pay for additional services such as hosting, email autoresponders, video hosting and more.

Additionally, you will get analytics for how long people watch your videos, and at what point they stop watching. Your subscribers will also be able to share, subscribe and perform other actions as well.

Kartra’s video hosting feature will allow you to organize your videos in folders, thus giving your subscribers a seamless watching experience.

Membership Websites

With Kartra, you will be able to build a membership website seamlessly. Additionally, you can personalize your membership site, and give your clients access to what you want based on their membership plans.

Kartra membership allows you to put a limit as far as customer’s access to certain content is concerned. Depending on your preferred plan, you will be able to send unlimited emails to your members, as and when you want.

Why is Kartra’s Pricing Valuable?

Using Kartra as your all in one marketing platform saves you the trouble of having to use different software for your online marketing. For instance, before I started using Kartra, I was using different software programs including:

SamCart for a shopping cart

ConvertKit for email automation

LeadPages for creating my forms

LeadPages for creating landing pages and funnels

Post Affiliate Pro for managing affiliates

Teachable for hosting my courses

All the above software cost me close to $300 every month. With that in mind, paying $89 for Kartra’s Starter Plan, for instance, will save you a huge amount of money at the end of every year.

Nonetheless, if you are experiencing financial constraints, I would recommend that you use ConvertKit or Leadpages, which cost $29 and $37 per month. With ConvertKit and Leadpages, you can be sure that your email automation and landing page needs are well taken care of.

How Does Kartra Pricing Compare To Its Competitors?

ClickFunnels vs Kartra Pricing

ClickFunnels and Kartra are great online marketing platforms. Although ClickFunnels offers less features than Kartra, it is certainly an excellent software as far as your sales funnel is concerned.

On the other hand, Kartra is an all-in-one marketing software, which allows you to use high end funnels and marketing tools.

However, these two have significant disparities. Using Kartra helps to ensure that you do not use multiple software, which saves you the trouble of paying for several subscriptions you don’t really need. It allows you to do much more than ClickFunnels, including building pages.

ClickFunnels has high quality features that you can use for your sales funnel, but it does not allow you to host videos. Unlike Kartra. ClickFunnels does not have a marketing AI for tracking leads, as well as an affiliate marketplace.

Be that as it may, Kartra can be a bit difficult to use if you have minimal sales and marketing experience.

The first thing to know is that you can get a 14 day trial free trial of ClickFunnels without even entering your credit card details, unlike Kartra.

During the two week trial period, you will be able to test it to see whether it is right for your business.

Standard Plan

Leadpages Vs Kartra Pricing

Leadpages will allow you to build a landing page for your website as well as opt-in forms. However, that is about all you can do with this software. Unlike the all-in-one marketing platform Kartra, Leadpages does not support membership sites, video hosting, email automation or affiliate marketing management.

Leadpages standard plan is $25 per month, per year, while Kartra’s starter plan is $89 per month, per year.

Conclusion of Kartra Pricing Plans

Kartra is certainly a big competitor of ClickFunnels, LeadPages, as well as other software like Kajabi and Infusion, which we did not look at in-depth in this review.

Kartra is a great all-in-one digital marketing platform that you can comfortably use regardless of whether you are just starting out, or you’ve been in business for a long time.

Having said that, Kartra is suitable for small, medium-sized, and even large organizations that are looking to take care of their marketing needs and efforts in one place.

Kartra Vs ClickFunnels – Which One Is Best For Your Business?

As I said before, I know all too well the frustration of consistently building landing pages and then driving traffic to them without gaining one sale for my efforts. It can be frustrating if you don’t have the right tools to help you get the job done.

Sales funnels are an amazing way to connect with your ideal customers and scale your business. However, not all sales funnel software are built equally. Some are better at certain tasks than others so it is important to get clear on your specific needs before jumping into any one platform.

In my search I found two winners, ClickFunnels and Kartra. Both are effective ways to simplify the creation of sales funnels and scale up your business.

Fortunately, both these products allow you to take a free or low-cost trial so you can take them for a test drive before you buy.

What Are The Main Differences Between Kartra and ClickFunnels?

In a nutshell, the biggest difference between these two platforms is that ClickFunnels is first and foremost a landing page and funnel builder, whereas Kartra is an all-in-one tool that can also build landing pages and sales funnels.

Even the most basic of Kartra’s plans include funnels, automated marketing, and many more features. This model can add a level of convenience to your business management that is proving to be quite attractive to many entrepreneurs online.

When we compare them on a like for like basis, ClickFunnels does pale in comparison to the newcomer. On the sufrace it is a no-brainer to go with Kartra because it also offers a checkout system, membership areas, automated email and SMS messaging, video hosting, a helpdesk, calendar and a way to pay affiliates who promote your product.

On the flip side, ClickFunnels put almost all of their resources into developing their landing page and funnel builder functionality. Therefore, it goes without saying that ClickFunnels is better for building funnels.

Fortunately, with ClickFunnels you can also build membership sites, but you will need to integrate it with an external autoresponder service such as Aweber or ConvertKit. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Many entrepreneurs do still prefer to keep these services seperate and just integrate them with each other through an API key.

The reason is that if a company is first and foremost an autoresponder company then they will be exceptionally good at providing that service. The same goes for ClickFunnels being first and foremost a funnel builder.

While many people are raving about how good Kartra is, it is important for us to consider that if Kartra are offering so many services under one roof then their resources to develop and maintain them will be spread thin. Therefore, I highly recommend taking advantage of the Kartra $1 14-day trial so you can test it out before you commit to buy.

What’s Unique About ClickFunnels?

Currently, ClickFunnels has two different plans:

ClickFnnels Standard

ClickFunnels Platinum

They are also currently working on a 3rd plan that will be called Clickfunnels Collective; which the company plans to launch after FunnelHacking Live in February 2020.

ClickFunnels has recently re-organised their offerings and have retired the Etison Suite package, which has now been replaced by CF Platinum. This means that they have sunsetted their autoresponder and backpack functionality so they can put 100% of their resources into developing the funnel builder.

Instead, they have introduced several cool features:

DailyHackathons

FunnelHacker Forum

I will tell you now though about FunnelFlix. It’s basically the ClickFunnels version of Netflix, but instead of movies and TV shows, it’s training courses. In fact, being a member means you get access to some of the best online marketing and entrepreneur training courses that are available today.

The selection of courses you get access to does depend on which package you are subscribed to. However, even the courses available with the standard plan are extremely good. Personally, I was surprised at some of the courses a Standard member has access to.

To watch these training courses, you will need to enter the member’s area known as FunnelFlix via your CF dashboard. Here you have the opportunity to view various courses that are offered by Russell Brunson, famous online marketer and owner of ClickFunnels. In addition, you will also be able to access training from Tony Robbins, Jay Abraham, John Reese and several other markerting, business and entrepreneurial leaders.

The advantages of ClickFunnels over Kartra does not stop there. For an honest and true comparison of the two, we must take a look at what ClickFunnels offers that Kartra cannot provide to its clients.

For one, ClickFunnels does allow you to integrate with other autoresponder software. Kartra, on the other hand, restricts you to using only their internal software or connection with Zapier for automating functions.

Additionally, the ability to run more than one business in one account is available through ClickFunnels. However, with Kartra, you need a separate account created for each business venture, which can be a bit cumbersome and start to get expensive if you have several entrepreneurial endeavors.

If you are considering creating any type of webinar for your business, ClickFunnels has an advantage over Kartra. It offers webinar technology that will support your webinar needs while offering evergreen functionality. Kartra does not currently support this function.

When choosing a platofrm, it’s also worth considering ClickFunnels’ longevity in the marketplace and the solid reputation it has built up over the years. It has been highly praised since its inception in 2014. It also boasts a very well developed network of support through larger companies as well as those in the entrepreneurial field.

Kartra is still realtively new to the industry and is still buiilding its support network and reputation.

What’s Unique About Kartra?

The one-stop-shop mantra of Kartra is exemplified by its ability to host your files and videos within the program. This was a big deal for me because if you’re using Kartra to host an online course or members area and, therefore, need to host a lot of videos, this feature can save you a ton of money hosting them elsewhere with platforms like Vimeo, YouTube or Wistia.

When subscribing to Kartra, you will receive bandwidth to host these files with an option to purchase more if you so desire, so the price will vary depending on how many videos you ened to host. Unfortunately, the ClickFunnels platform does not offer this. It requires you to host your videos with a thrid party.

Pre-built page builder sections

Kartra also has pre-built sections in their page builder functions. This allows you to pick and choose different sections of a webpage template rather than choosing a full page layout as is offered with ClickFunnels. Some people find the ability to select from Kartra’s plethora of options enables you to customize your pages much more easily, while others can find it a bit clunky. It’s a matter of opinion really.

Other key Kartra features that are of interest, such as “dynamic” OTOs and behavioral marketing, can help you in creating a more tailored shopping experience for your customer.

Tailored shopping experience

Kartra also has a really cool feature that allows you to tailor your funnels to your customers previous behavioural patterns on your website. This can really help to increase sales as it allows the for a more personalized experience.

Katrar help desk

A great feature that Kartra has over ClickFunnels is their built-in help desk feature. It has customer service support integrated within their business model, eliminating the need for you to connect or integrate with additional programs like Zendesk.

To help sum up the differences between Kartra and ClickFunnels, here are some pros and cons of each. I hope this helps you with finding and creating the best sales funnels for your online business.

Best WordPress Plugins For Affiliate SEO and Blogging

If you do affiliate SEO to make money online or if you’re interested in this business model then the likelihood is you’re gonna be using WordPress for your website.

In my opinion (and many other successful affiliate marketers) WordPress is the best platform to use for affiliate SEO for the following reasons:

It’s very easy to use and manage yourself

WordPress is by a huge number of people so it is very easy to find someone to help you with any tech issues

It is very easy to find a VA who knows how to use WordPress when you come to outsourcing

There are a huge number of great WP plugins (many of which are free) that can make a huge difference to your business

There are many more reasons why I would recommend WordPress, but for this article, these are the most important things to consider.

So, with that said, what are some of the best WordPress plugins to help you with affiliate SEO?

Over my 7+ years as an affiliate, I’ve tried and tested a huge number of different plugins. Some are a must-have while others are pretty bad and can actually harm your website and your rankings.

I could list quite a few great WP plugins here, but I’m just gonna talk about the plugins I use that can help more specifically for affiliate SEO.

So here are my top 12 WP plugins for affiliate marketing. Some of these plugins are totally free while others are paid plugins.

My Top 12 WordPress Plugins For Affiliate SEO & Blogging

WP Zero Bounce

WP Zero Bounce is a cool little plugin that can be used for several different reasons and in different ways to help you make more money as an affiliate.

Basically, WP Zero Bounce is a redirect plugin. Its main function is to redirect your site visitors to a chosen page when they hit the back button. You can redirect them to an internal page on your site or even to a page on a totally different site.

Why use WP Zero Bounce?

Firstly, using this plugin can help to reduce your bounce rate. Unfortunately, most site visitors don’t click through to other pages on a website. They usually find one of your articles and either hit the back button almost immediately if it’s not what they’re looking for or read your article then hit the back button.

The problem is, even if your article is what your site visitors is looking for, once they hit the back button without clicking through to any other pages on your site, Google will log this as a “bounce”, which will put your bounce rate up.

The higher your bounce rate, the more Google thinks your article is not what the visitor is looking for and, therefore, not relevant to the keywords you’re ranking for. So, having a high bounce rate can mean a demotion in Google search, which sucks…

Another cool thing you can do with this plugin is to redirect visitors to a pre-sell article on your site. This will give them more of a chance to see your offer and take you up on it.

You can also set the plugin to redirect to an affiliate offer instead of to your pre-sell page. Personally, if I do this, I only set this on pre-sell articles, which are written to promote a specific product. This way it is not jarring for your site visitor to be redirected to random pages.

If you do this, be aware that some affiliate programs don’t like people to do this, whereas others don’t mind at all. So, to be on the safe side, read through he T&C’s of the affiliate program before redirecting your visitors to them.

In my experience, I’d say you will also have a higher conversion rate if you were to redirect a person to a pre-sell page on your site or a bridge page in your funnel rather than just redirecting them directly to the affiliate offer.

One more word of warning for this plugin, don’t use it on every page of your site (unless you’re doing the SerpShaker method taught in SEO Affiliate Domination). This is especially true if you have a site that is getting a high amount of traffic. I tested this on one of my sites that gets around 2,000 visitors per day. After about 15 days I started to lose rankings. When I checked Google Search Console I saw an error about unnatural redirects. Fortunately, I disabled the plugin before it caused an issue with my site and the rankings came back after about 20 days.

I have tested the same thing on sites with low volume traffic, around 100 visitors per day and there is no problems.

WP Zero Bounce is a paid plugin, but it is very reasonably priced. You can check the price here.

Thrive Leads

Thrive Leads is awesome! I was very late looking at Thrive Themes and all the cool products they offer to WordPress users. That was a huge mistake. If I could go back in time, I would buy Thrive Themes earlier in my career.

Thrive Leads is one of several plugins that come with your Thrive Themes purchase. While you can purchase Thrive Leads separately, it makes far more sense to just become a Thrive Member and access all of their products and services. It is definitely worth it in my opinion.

So, what does Thrive leads actually do? Its main function is to help you collect leads and grow your email list. However, you can also use it as a popup, ribbon banner, slide-in and more to also collect leads, send someone directly to your pre-sell page or bridge page or even directly to an affiliate offer.

Using Thrive Leads you can also create funnels, collect leads and then offer your site visitors the opportunity to buy your products or even an affiliate offer.

Thrive Architect

Thrive Architect is another excellent plugin provided by the folks at Thrive Themes. This plugin is very easy to use and helps you to create great-looking landing and pre-sell pages. You can easily add buttons, images, videos, pros and cons boxes, review boxes and more.

Basically, you can pretty much style your pages exactly how you want them. This is another must-have tool for affiliate SEO’s to help improve your conversion rate.

Hello Bar

If you are not looking to purchase Thrive Leads just yet, then another cool plugin you can check out is Hello Bar. But if you have Thrive Leads then you won’t need to use Hello Bar.

With Hello Bar you can create banners, ribbons and slide-ins to help you collect email addresses or send someone directly to an affiliate offer.

I like Hello Bar because you can start using it for free and it’s very easy to use. On the free account, you are limited though to how many site visitors you can have per month. If you need more than you’ll need to upgrade to a paid account.

If your site is in the early stages or is just not getting much traffic yet then you can start using Hello Bar and upgrade to using Thrive Leads once your traffic and income builds.

KK Star Ratings

The KK Star Ratings plugin adds rich snippet start to your SERP listings and allows your site visitors top vote on your content.

Rich snippet stars have shown to increase your click-through rate (CTR) by as much as 40%. This is great news for us. So, even if one of your articles is lower down on page one of Google search (say, no5 for example), this plugin will help attract more people to click on your listing.

List Category Posts

Use this plugin mainly to create a sitemap for my website. Google wants to see all websites using sitemap where a person can access every article on your site from one page.

Having a sitemap on your site not only helps to keep you in Google’s good books, it helps them to crawl your site and index your pages more easily.

NextScripts Social Networks Auto-Poster

This is a cool plugin that allows you to hook up your site to your social media platforms. Then, each time you publish a new post, the NextScripts plugin will automatically post your article to your social media accounts.

This, of course, saves you time, but it also creates a backlink to your individual articles from the social platforms. Of course, these backlinks are not especially powerful, but it all helps!

Pretty Links

This is the link clocking tool I use on all my sites. Search engines don’t particularly like hop links very much, so you can sue the Pretty Links plugin to create a neater looking link. This is also known as link cloaking.

A really important feature of Pretty Links is that you can set the links to no-follow, which you should ALWAYS do when you link to an affiliate offer.

Pretty Links also allows you to track the clicks of your links so you can see which ones your site visitors are interacting with.

Table of Contents Plus

This is a great plugin to help improve user experience, but it also gives a nice SEO advantage.

When you use this plugin, you can add a table of contents for your articles, which will help your visitors navigate your posts to find what they’re looking for more easily.

You’ll also notice that the table of contents is also hyperlinked to different sections in your article by headings and sub-headings. It’s these hyperlinks that can help give you an SEO boost. Just make sure you use some LSI keywords in your headings and sub-headings 😉

WP Statistics

I do use Google Analytics but I also like to use the WP Statistics plugin to see exactly how many visitors are coming form Google, Yahoo, Bing etc each day.

The plugin can show you quite a bit of info, including the number of overall site visitors, search engine referrals, your top-visited pages, the latest keywords people have searched for to find your site and their geo-location.

This is a pretty powerful plugin and it’s totally free! You can check it out here.

Google XML Sitemaps For Videos

This is another plugin I really like. I add a YouTube video to most of my articles for several reasons:

Google loves YouTube (because it owns it) and, therefore, it is suspected that you may get articles indexed more quickly in if has a YouTube video (which will mean that Google can then earn more money form add clicks)

If the YouTube video I add to my site has my primary keyword or part of my keyword in the title of the video then it can also help my article rank in Google search for that keyword also

Google likes media-rich content and adding a YouTube video is an easy way to do this

So, where does this Google XML Sitemaps For Videos plugin come in..?

Well, Google loves sitemaps as it makes it easier for them to crawl and index content. With this plugin, you can create a sitemap for the video (as long as you’re publishing as a post, not a page) and then ping Google to come to crawl your new article.

Once you do this, Google will come to crawl your article much more quickly than it otherwise would have, which will help your new post to get indexed more quickly 🙂

Yoast SEO

Probably the most popular SEO plugin for WordPress. Yeah, I also use it too, however, sometimes I do also use the All In One SEO Pack for some sites.

With Yoast you can set it up so you can have full control over your SEO titles, create an XML sitemap to submit to Google Search console, control which pages you don’t want indexed and more.

Final Thoughts

There are a load of helpful plugins out there if you’re using WordPress for affiliate SEO. This list is by no means exhaustive, but they are the main ones I’m using at the moment.

Be careful not to add too many plugins to your site as some of them can be very resource-hungry and slow your site down. So try to keep your plugin list lean and make sure you update them frequently.

Onboarding Process

I hate it when I purchase a new service only to log in and have no idea where to go next or what to do. I was delighted to see that the experience with Kartra is the opposite. Once you sign-up, Kartra will seamlessly walk you through the introduction to their platform.

You will first receive 4 emails, which are part of the onboarding process. The initial email will contain your login details and a link to your login page, which is also their learning center. When you log in to your account, you will have access to a welcome video, which will enlighten you on the key features of Kartra. Additionally, the video will give you details on the key steps you need to take next to get set up.

However, you do not have to watch or follow the video, but it will be a big help to you if you have the time.

Kartra Page Builder

Just like other page builders, you will have access to WYSIWYG, which is a front end editor that stands for “what you see is what you get”.

If you decide to use Kartra, you will have access to ready-made templates including a home page, blog feed, classic squeeze pages, and sales pages.

The templates are similar to popular squeeze and landing page templates that are being used in the market today. Their templates offer a lot of choices. However, you can also customize any of the templates to suit your needs or create your own ones from scratch.

Additionally, editing text, images, and overall styling are quite easy with Kartra. Adding block elements is also possible by using the block template section.

You will also be able to add videos to your pages seamlessly from your video library.

This is a great feature and, in my opinion, a huge benefit of using Kartra over other platforms.

In essence, you will not have to use an external video hosting solution such as Vimeo, YouTube or Wistia because you will be able to host your videos from within your Kartra account.

If your business model relies on using a lot of video content, for example, providing a members area with training videos then this feature is gonna save you quite a bit of money that you would have had to otherwise spend with an external video hosting platform.

I once used Vimeo to host all my videos, but I can tell you, it soon gets expensive the more videos you upload!

The interface is straightforward and easy to grasp. Therefore, adding your products and shopping cart will be an easy task.
