Nintendo's Summer 2022 Coldstone Flavors
Food
Type of Funny Food: Tie-In Product
Year Introduced: 2022
Location: Coldstone Creamery
For a short time in 2022, Coldstone Creamery offered three ice cream creations themed to a few Nintendo franchises, specially Kirby, Mario, and Animal Crossing.
The three flavors were The Mighty Pink Puff (strawberry ice cream, caramel, strawberries, and mini marshmallows) for Kirby, Superstar Sprinkle Blast (cake batter ice cream, icing, yellow cake, and sprinkes) for Mario, and Island Getaway (chocolate ice cream with bananas, strawberries, and whipped cream) for Animal Crossing. The ice cream also came in a themed, collectable cup!
-
I only ever tried one of these- the Mario flavor. It tasted good at first, but there was wayyyy too much icing in it for my taste.

Kelloggâs Minecraft Creeper Crunch Cereal
Food
Type of Funny Food: Tie-In Product
Introduced: August 2020
Location: Supermarkets

From 2020 to 2022, Kelloggâs offered a tie-in Minecraft cereal, Creeper Crunch. Named after its most famous in-game enemy, the creeper, the cinnamon flavored oat cereal came with appropriately square âcreeper bitâ mini marshmallows colored in different shades of green. Luckily for the consumer, the cereal didnât have the same explosive properties of its mean, green namesake.
The packaging also included a code that interested gamers could use to redeem one of 16 wearable in-game items. Some items seemed harder to find than others, encouraging multiple purchases of the product.

Sonic the Hedgehog, at the time fresh off the release of the third game in the series, received not one, but two tie-in Lifesavers flavors.
These were Blue Rad and Hot Rings, which were blue raspberry and cinnamon-flavored, respectively. There were other Lifesavers with Sonic on them (and at least one with Knuckles), but these two were the only themed offerings.

Note

The crime is it was vanilla flavored. It didn't even taste like blue.
See, as someone who has been 'fortunate' enough to drink the blue milk at Galaxy's Edge, I'd much prefer a vanilla taste, haha.
