This will be purely based on vibes and small similarities between the characters pls don't take this seriously I'm just obsessed with san-x these days lmao 😭 the descriptions come from the wiki or san-x website and you'll see some of them have just one pic or a small description – that's because that's all that's available :') that's how obscure some of these are lmao have fun!!!

Jin

Oyasumi bakura (おやすみバクラ)

Oyasumi Bakura is a blue and white pillow-shaped tapir who loves nothing better than sleeping! He serves as the guardian of resting and guarantees sweet and pleasant dreams. When he's awake, he patrols the lands for unsuspecting creatures to cast his sleep-spell over. With him by your side, you will always have sweet dreams.

Has there ever been such a confident character before? He's a somewhat arrogant, confident, fearless frog. He's unconcerned no matter what happens. He's a bossy character, but still extremely considerate. Kerodon likes living life his own way.

Buru buru dog (ぶるぶるどっぐ)

He's a cute, scared dog with round eyes that's always shaking. Even if he's happy or having fun, he's always trembling and is scared. He doesn't like ladybugs and loves strawberry-flavored jelly. They have a lot of favorite pants, including polka dot ones.

Ishiyowa chan (いしよわちゃん)

They are a weak-willed dog who can't stick with anything for very long. They easily end up indulging themselves. His weak will has caused his once straight ears and tail to gradually droop. Their catchphrase is "Tomorrow for sure."

Taiga

Confused platypus (かものはしかも)

The main character, Confused Platypus or Kamonohashikamo, is a yellow platypus with a hair on its head that looks like a question mark. They're unsure if they're a platypus. It seems like he doesn't even know when something is a problem or not. "Maybe" is always added at the end of his phrases. His special skill is eating everything in one bite. His favorite food is melon bread. He is wishy-washy and always adopting himself in evasive attitude.

Romeo

Jewel Cat (ジュエルキャット)

Jewel Cat is a cat fairy that lives inside a jewel box. It is rumored that her eyes are jewels, and depending on the condition of the light from the waxing and waning of the moon, the color of her fur and eyes transform. The people who are able to find her receive the power of happiness. (Apparently the benefit depends on the color that you happen to see her in.) She loves fashion, and her charm point is her jeweled necklaces.

Ritsu

Kyomu Kyomu Seikatsu (きょむきょむ生活)

This is the town of Kyomu, where every day is "Monday morning" and we all have to work. But, you know, I feel like I can get through it if I put on this face and concentrate! Thank you for all your hard work every day. Why don't we relax and make a Kyomu face together?

Meet White Asparagus, a handsome guy who really loves reading! He's really shy and spend most of my time indoors, so his once green body is now whitening.

Tarepanda (たれぱんだ)

Tarepanda means “droopy” panda in Japanese. More specifically, “Tare” means lying on the tummy or can be described as slump down/slouch. These pandas move by rolling around. How lazy are they, you ask? Just for your record, Tarepanda is so lazy and slow that it moves about 2.75 meters per hour. Tarepanda loves to eat mochi (especially Suama, Japanese sweets).

Keropop (ケロポップ)

Whether it's a rainy day or a sunny day, Keropop and his friends are having a great time. Let's have a pop today and tomorrow, even if it's raining ♪

Ed

Hamipa (はみぱ)

After too much relaxing, and taking things too easy, the big black patch on his fur slid down his belly until it became something like loose short pants that are just too big for him, and keep sliding down. Hamipa is not bothered by this, he really does not care, and would rather be free of pants of any kind.

Rui

Kokoro Araiguma (ココロアライグマ)

She has a super power – she heals hearts when they are sad or broken. In addition, her power has a potency or effectiveness of 120%, so heart healing is guaranteed. The funniest thing of all is that Kokoro Araiguma manages to heal broken hearts by washing them! Thus, her basin, soap bubbles and clothesline are common elements of the illustrations where this cute character appears.

Lyca

Iiwaken dog いいわけん

"Iwake" meaning "Excuse" and "Ken" mean "Dog". His master is a Salary Man who tends to over sleep sometimes and thus, becomes late for work! So for the sake of his master, Iiwaken makes excuses to get him out of bed and not get scolded by his company. He looks like the common Shiba Inu except that he carries a crayon around his neck. Iiwaken is a dog that loves to draw and he loves his owner.

Yuri

MikanBouya (みかんぼうや)

MikanBouya is a mandarin orange from Onsyu, Japan. Although it is sensitive to coldness, it wants to be a frozen mandarin orange and is trying to overcome coldness. However, it always fails, so sometimes it misses its home town and becomes very sad. Despite that, after it set its goal, it will devote itself to it.

Jiro

Coon bear (あらわずぐま)

Coon Bear from Coon Days might like being clean, but it doesn’t like to wash themselves a lot. This creature appears out of the blue while someone is washing their hands. Coon Bear just wants to wash hands together.
