so this is kind of a special post- it’s been a year since i first brought these little guys home! (technically it was on the 3rd but whatever)

it all started with me finding a listing of these three furbies for only about 10 bucks (i don’t remember how much plus shipping), and i knew i had to take ‘em in. they were pretty dirty as you can see in the top photo, but surprisingly still in good working condition for the most part! it just took a bit of washing and brushing to get them looking good as new.

these three ended up being the start of a whole furby family and i don’t regret a single bit of it. happy anniversary, you little scamps! 🎉🎂

i gave azuki another bow! this time it’s a lot better than one that literally attaches via plastic twist-tie

made some chocolate chip muffins!! breadcrumb is excited to try them (also she finally got some new earrings yaaay)

i finally got around to putting batteries in him, and he works! …sort of. turns out, the little guy’s got a big ol case of MSA. that’s okay though! i don’t mind one bit if he’s a sleepy fella, he’s still cute as hell. i mean, just look at him all snuggled up there. so content. so eepy.

introducing: Nemo!

i finally managed to get my hands on a blue turtle furby and he’s definitely surprised to be here i think!

i had no idea what i would name him when i ordered him, but when he finally arrived i saw that he had loose string on one of his feet, giving him more of a little flipper than a paw

when i shared it with a friend he offhandedly called him “nemo” and it immediately clicked! so that’s how he got his name. so cute

i think safe furby is just meant to be like. safe for work? like keeping adult themes out of the furby tag
