Indigo nodded, giving Grey's arm an awkward but gentle little pat, and then walked over to the kids, already looking them over for injuries. "Hey there, small ones. Here, let me see how you're doing." He gave Scoot such a gentle touch when he reached her, smiling at the dragon. She warbled up at him, more glued to Kari than ever.
Indigo then looked between the three kids, a bit worried for them. "Okay, who has injuries. And who's getting healed first. I can treat a lot of things, so don't worry."
He nodded to the nadder and nightmare as well. "I can also heal Pyro and Skysinger if they're hurt. Scoot too, of course."
Indi just kept shadowing his friend around, meeting more people and being a part of things.

The first thought Lila had, was that she was alive. It surprised her, even having such a thought. She was almost positive that was the end for her. Yet as she sat up and looked around, she was certain that she still drew breath on Aidorin's soil. She was surprised that she seemed to come out of everything without a scratch. Maybe a bit of soreness, but no real pain.
Looking around she saw that she was completely alone. She was near the edge of what was once High Central's north-western bridge and she could see shapes moving across the way, soldiers moving and dragons flying above, but for once in a long time, she turned her eyes to the left, to the rising sun.
It felt like years since she just sat down, and she had the best seat in the house. Besides, she trusted Grey could lead in her absence for a few minutes. As she sat in this field of lavender, she watched as a pair of loons landed in the water and she felt at peace, for the first time in a long, long time.

Indigo approached Grey and Brandt, noting the woman's broken arm, and paused only a moment before kneeling next to her. "you don't mind if I... you know. fix it. I've been doing a lot of fixing today." He gave her a small smile. He took her arm very carefully and ran magic through it, getting the bones back together and sealing the nasty break up as gently as he could, though it did still hurt. "Least I can do." Indi was hovering nearby, watching, and holding his helmet under one arm while he fidgeted a little. "I can't heal or I'd be helping more. But hey, at least I snapped those owls back over to our side! You couldn't have done that without yours truly, eh?" He gave Grey a single finger gun. Indi was too busy being focused to respond, just grunting softly. "And I mean, who else has energy laser swords anyway. Clearly I was a great addition to the team. But I guess.... mostly everything is wrapped up, huh." Indi continued. "Man, what a battle."

Blackout
The crater that was High Central seemed to shrink and fall away into mist as Daybreak frantically climbed to the sky, scattering shrouds of cloud, and her riders felt freezing cold to their west and searing warmth on their sunlit east. Milae focused on breathing, shutting his eyes as the dawn and its blue sky nearly blinded him. He pushed the top of his head into Vox's back, shaking hooves clutching the man's sides. He tried not to think about the dire situation they had left behind, but he thought he might suffocate if he at least did not tug on Vox's arm and rasp out an apology. So he did just that.
"I'm so sorry. For everything."

Theos Sotiras [pt 6]
[previous]
Nala and Juro skidded across the ground and crashed into the base of the watchtower, which billowed with dust and wobbled dangerously. She shoved himself upright, drawing on Juro's healing abilities to shimmer across his torso. In either hand, he wielded two blazing, slightly-curved swords, one short, one long, and he crossed them viciously to throw wide showers of sparks at his feet, catching the grass ablaze. "Your age shows only in how your skills have decayed," she snarled, Juro's right eye strobing between sky and fire. With each flash of color, she threw long javelins of her essence through Kalmah's dregs, trying to draw out identity, memory, personality, anything she could get her claws on. "Who sent you on a lowly errand boy's mission to Midgard, only to see you fail at my hands?"

Indi had finished looking for anyone else left and was glad he'd found Lila, even if the short interaction had been confusing.
He was watching the groups of people in the tents help each other, a little jealous inside. Back in space, he didn't have anyone looking out for him like this. He would stay forever if it meant he could get more friends. As it was, he watched Lila bark orders and have their enemies taken care of, he watched Indigo's dragons volunteer help whenever they could, as tired as they were, everyone helping one another.
He sighed softly inside his helmet, patting the owl sitting next to him. "They sure got it good here, huh."
Indigo was waking up at last, shaking off the nasty bonk to the head as it healed slowly. "Whew. I'm. I'm up here and not down there." He muttered, standing up and taking off more of his armor. With it set aside, he moved to start healing people as best he could, ready enough to help his allies once again. He got worried warbles and snorts from the dragons, but assured them he was fine. He got right to healing wounds and bones, gentle as could be with the wounded.

"Aha!" Indi's voice came clearly through the beacons, still connected to his system. "I seem to have found a sign of life!"
He landed next to Grey and Shadow, looking down at them both with a thoughtful hum. "Ah, you're both alive, that's great. Just hold there, I'll get someone at your location. I still have to find the other lady, but for now,"
He shot back up, waved at the dragons who'd sent him to look for the missing rebels, and then soon brought a trio of them down to Grey and Shadow. The three dragons immediately began trying to help get the chief and her friend to safety.
Indi went back to scanning and finally spotted Lila, moving over to land beside her. "Found you! Alright! I'll wave someone over here for you if you need help at all, ma'am."

Indigo had been hit pretty hard by a random rock falling, knocking him clean off of Storm and down, down into the pit.
Storm made a sound of alarm but kept flying, his passengers needing escape.
Fortunately for Indigo, nearly all of his dragons noticed him fall, unconscious, and he was scooped up in the claws of one of his many close friends, flown up out of the hole to safety.
He was landed among the rebels, alongside the others rescued from the filling hole, the dragons had done an excellent job of grabbing anyone they could find and making their way out.
Indigo was out pretty hard with some damage to his head, but he'd been shot through the head by Dixie's weapon before and come out okay. He'd be up in less than an hour, knowing him. It didn't stop his friends from fussing over him, sniffing and licking and pawing softly at him. They even managed to get his helmet off.
Over in the eerily silent hole, a sudden streak of purple light split the blue dawn, and Indi landed nearby, owl under one arm. He looked up at the rebels, gave an awkward little wave, and then set the beacon he'd been using nearby and looked around to see if he could help.
"Hey, rebel dudes. Um... so. That was horrifying. Can I still help, at all? Er, let me know." He told anyone who was listening to him.
Storm turned to him and made some urgent growls and snorts, knowing Lila, Shadow, and Grey were still in the hole. He gestured with his body towards it, which Indi did not get. "Yeah, sure did, beastie!"
Tael looked up, rolling his eyes. "Some of our allies are down there, dummy. Go look around, but be careful. The chief, a dragon like us, and the war leader. But keep an eye out for the beast, too. It might be alive down there still, for all we know."
Indi nodded, made a little salute, and took off. "You got it, big tail! I'll search! Listen to the beacons for what I find!"
He turned and went back, flying towards the hole.
Rumble Down Under [pt 9]

One of the titanic pillars teetered and then decisively broke into thirds, rapidly falling towards the Rebellion, which screamed collectively, still scrambling to leave. Before they could react, a tsunami rushed upwards and swallowed the chunks of stone a mile high each, throwing mist and spray and dousing everyone within sight, and when it cleared, the obstacle was gone. Then it reemerged with each of their sharpest ends pointed at Kezia's monstrous body, pinning it down to the water-covered ground in intervals. Tezz dropped his arms and fell fully to his knees, blood pouring from his nose and the corners of his mouth leaking pink foam. But he punched the ground with a fist, growled, struggled back to his feet, and continued to focus on the floods around them, preparing them to envelop everyone underground. The water around the island began to twist like a cyclone.
The Tyrant thrashed and screamed like a worm on a hook, shredding her own body on the harpoons of stone, arms gripping the Arbiter and throwing him with tremendous force towards the shrinking island. The many, many legs paddled and moved in waves, trying their best to dislodge the beast to which they were attached. The wreckage of the Construct was lost beneath the resulting waves. Bursts of force and fire raged from her humanoid half, but they were swallowed in water and earth. "T̵H̷I̴S̶ ̶C̶A̵N̷'̵T̸ ̶E̵N̶D̵!̴!̵ ̶I̵ ̶W̴O̵N̶'̸T̶ ̸L̸E̶T̶ ̶I̵T̶ ̶E̸N̸D̵!̸!̷" she shrieked.
Grey and Lila exploded through the fear trap into the main hall of the tower, which was now only several seconds from striking the ground. The blue glass and white ivory and bronze embellishments of the tower, once gaudy and beautiful, were in thousands of shards, shredding skin and fabric, skidding off of wolf bone. The carved floor was completely split open three levels deep to reveal a device as big as the courtyard outside of Haligan's Great Hall, a massive round thing with rings of metal and elaborate runes and glassy surfaces. The room that once housed it had been obliterated, and below its spherical surfaces, it yet still pulsed, the steady blue glow occasionally flashing with dangerous dark yellows and oranges as it was being pulled apart by the sheer force of their velocity.
The part of Darien's brain that yet resided in Lila's was panicking and calm at the same time. Never mind. There was no neat and clean way to do this. Darien gave Lila a single arcane word, a passcode to send the tower engine's core into overdrive, and then they were going to have to strike it with as much force as they could muster to detonate it.
I believe in you. She could hear the idea, exactly as the thought would have run through the ex-Magistrate's head.

Indigo watched Kendra run over with a limp body and got off Storm for now, looking down at the woman.
"Hmm. Well, we absolutely should not dawdle down here. This place is filling with rubble and water every moment we hesitate." He sent a mental call of his own upwards, calling dragons to him. Several of the fastest dove down through the crumbling city, black darts against the rubble and waterfalls.
They landed nearby, and he instructed them to each carry someone or let them hitch a ride up and out of the hole.
It took him a moment to notice Kendra didn't seem to hear him, so he made a simple motion.
Up. Everyone, up. Now.
He motioned her to bring Verdandi to Storm, who could carry all three out. It surely wouldn't be much longer until the entire area was just an underground lake with the constant water.
He would heal them once they were out.
More of the furies flew in, skillfully dodging rocks and water, looking for anyone in need of rescue as quickly as they could, using every bit of their speed and maneuvering. Soon, they were all on their way out of the hole with wounded and anyone else needing a way out.
Indi watched all this, holding the owl tight, and looked a bit nervous to fly out before all the rubble fell, lest something heavy knock him out midair and he get trapped underwater. "By the crimson eye nebula this is horrifying." He whispered, still shaken by the earlier jumps between timelines. It had wreaked small amounts of havoc on his systems.

"You're right." Lila said without hesitation. They were on the back foot now and it was clear they needed an ace in the hole. Plan C was the only option that made sense now.
"Tezzeret, work with the Nixes to get everyone out of here. Liam... I... Don't know what the Hel you are anymore, but if that chain is what's giving Kezia this power it needs to go. Everyone else... Survive." She says as she takes off towards the tower with Grey in tow.

Indigo took only a moment to register the command, nodded at Lila, and then redirected Storm out of the falling building, turning right around and heading for the people on the bottom of the underground.
He had the dragon land speedily on the ground nearby in a puff of dirt and stone, looking over at his allies.
"Anyone need help down here?" He asked, looking around at Dario, Vox, that... glowing man...?
And whoever else happened to be there.

Indigo made a screech of alarm alongside the dragon he was riding, waching his limbs and his friend flicker in and out of being injured, and his eyes were wide with horror under his mask.
Somehow, they survived and stayed in the air, with Storm making sounds of fear and shaking. Indigo gently soothed him, and then heard a loud crack.
He looked up and the city was falling.
"SHOOT" He yelled, working in sync with his friend to fly out of the hole, weaving in and out and going fast as they could.
He flew up past the surface and spotted Grey zooming away on her own night fury, ignoring everything and clearly on a mission.
His dragon flock was startled by the falling city and the giant sky chain, and were making all sorts of noises from where they flew, staying away from both.
Indigo flew after Grey, deciding he could help her, maybe, unless someone called him elsewhere.
Indi, meanwhile, was watching rubble fall past his little hiding hole, gripping the owl. "Ohhh no."

"She's going to burn everything and anything down just to get at us, huh. Where have I heard that before." Indigo muttered to himself, having forced his arm to heal with a concentrated push of magic and was crawling up the stone wall bit by bit, clawed and fired up hands digging into the rock with ease.
"It's so stupid I would have found that relatable a year-ish ago. Two years? However long its been... but heck, I didn't turn myself into a behemoth and start ripping the fabric of reality apart. Haha get a grip, lady." He kept on muttering, climbing higher and higher, eventually sitting in a hole up high on the wall and watching her from a distance.
He'd gotten a mental blast of surprise over the reclaimed network as well, seeing the chain with surprise and bewilderment, and was grateful he'd been on the opposite end of where she'd fired her laser earlier. It probably would have hurt. A lot.
"Ugh this is the worst. Fighting in a slowly filling hole with a giant centipede woman."
I've only done one of those two things before! Indi chimed in, connected and listening to everyone on different channels, most of which he'd turned down. A lot like a very, very busy voice call.
"No one needs to know which one." Indigo retorted, standing again and stretching before wondering how else they could stop this behemoth, and quickly. "You got any starry-fancy-technology methods of shutting this freak down, cousin? Does anyone have any ideas at all? Good ones? She's got to have a good weak point, right?"
Uh, I could scan her from here with the help of the owl rocks, but I really don't think it would help? I'll do it anyway and send the data to anyone who wants it.
"Good. Okay. You do that, Pirate. I've got more flames in me yet, I'll keep burning her."
Storm landed inside of the small hole, letting Indigo reunite with him, and the two took back to the battle.
Indi immediately got the owls help on scanning her, leaving enough space for them to do their other task of connecting the rebellion. He worked away on the holographic keyboard on his arm and read things on his helmet screen, just working away until the scan started. "Alright, data incoming, whatever it'll be. Anyone who wants it let me know."

Lila saw the devastation Kezia was causing amidst her troops on the ground. She thought to try and remove the target from their backs, or at the very least, remove Kezia's ability to deal with them. She flew close to her, her wolf bone sword, which she had taken to calling Fang, and used it to try and cut off her many many legs.
Kettil took the opportunity to get closer, seeing as how Kezia seemed to lack ranged attacks his protection seemed better suited for the front lines. So he struck out with sharp waves of wind, trying to upset her balance while also protecting the rebels surrounding her.
Suddenly Jari burst up from the ground near where the Construct had tore into Kezia's body now covered in a dark, almost fluid looking armor. The gaping wound seemed, to her to be the weakest point and she intended to capitalize on that. As she passed she threw several balls of lightning into the wound, sticking to the edges before exploding, discharging 300 million volts through her system.
Sav would take the opportunity to try and burn her from the inside with lava, using that wound as his opening.

Indigo's broken bones hadn't healed fully just yet, and he was in some pain still, feeling things pulling themselves back together bit by bit. The shifting of bones and muscles was unpleasant, but something he had long grown used to.
Slowly he spiraled around the battle, watching things happen, and stared in surprise when Grey leapt at the beast and got grabbed and dropped and catched, hearing the distorted shrieking of words from the monster.
"Hmph." He muttered. "Alright, Storm. Hang back and ready to catch me." He leapt off only a moment later, cape out and helping him glide towads the monster.
You cannot account them as relics when I am here, now can you? I'm four times the relic! You'll regret this day one way or another, we'll make sure of it.
His mind shot at hers, just after a flaming sword off his arm sliced through one of hers, leaving a deep and nastily burned gash. He'd maybe acted a bit too soon, considering his body was still in the process of healing, and he dipped a bit unexpectedly, landing just past the thrashing demons. He shot a few more blasts of fire at her legs and mouth, a few going straight into it, and then scrambled away like a bug, hiding among the rocks for Storm to pick him up. He didn't even really know how much damage he'd done to Kezia, but he knew he couldn't just sit and wait for every little wound to heal all the way.
And finally, with a woop of pure excitement, and a clearing of the air, the owls turned a deep, vibrant purple, locked perfectly into Indi's system and under his control. The static fuzz they were sending out to the allies stopped, followed by some shuffling and silly singing as Indi celebated to himself. "Hey rebels! I fixed it! Enjoy clear minds! Hey, does anyone want a motivating playlist of music? No probably not. Heck I'll turn it on them. Let me jam the beast's mind instead, once I figure out how to. Good luck out there!"

The Changeling, feeling the sudden ripple of energy though the next and the pain coming from their partner almost straightened up. "Hey I gotta go." Is all they said to Deo before shifting into a thin line of alien looking material that almost flowed like water as it began zipping through the streets of High Central at speeds faster than any human could manage, making a b-line for the Lazer hole.
Meanwhile Jari was having a very bad day. Curled inside a hole and crying out in pain as she clutched her head in agony. It felt like her brain was being split apart, never mind the deep gash that was in her side. Rockbite carefully lowered her down into the dirt, a soft, worried hiss escaping him as he nuzzled close. Looking down with his poor eyesight he blows a small ring of fire, trying to cauterize her wound, causing her to cry out in pain once more. She was going to need a minute to pull herself together.
In the heat of battle, Lila heard the call from Treepelt to push Kezia away from the hill and the tomb and she was more than happy to try and facilitate that. She started launching massive blue balls of fire at Kezia's main body in an effort to cause it to retreat.
And further down on the list of people not having a good day, Sav had been unceremoniously clipped by one of Kezia's many, many feet and flung a fair distance into a rock wall, creating a Sav sized impression in the wall. "The fackin' shit I have to put up with for these people." He groans as he forces himself out onto his feet as he started making large pools of lava to trap her with.

Indi was thrilled to discover that this little stone beast was exactly something he could understand. He rubbed his hands together a moment with glee, keeping on the frequency and immediately beginning to try and tap into its inner workings like he would any signal jammer, as he'd hacked tons of things before. This was the most familiar thing he'd seen all day.
"Gotcha, you little glitch." He grinned, working his way in with his best methods, finding his way through the systems that were refreshingly familiar. "Man, it's a good thing I came along, what would they have done without me. I might even get like a medal or something." He chuckled a little, excited to be useful.
He'd have it and its brothers hacked and back on their side in no time, secure and on his networks instead of with Kezia' s claws dug into it. Heck, he could have sworn those blueish teal lights were already starting to flicker with tinges of purple.

After hovering out of range a while and putting together some ideas and plans in his head, Indi locked onto where the owl was sitting perched on the box and zipped in at an opportune moment, using speed and good maneuvering to not get squished or smacked by the many things going on.
He grabbed the owl and flew up and into one of the many holes along the walls, deep enough to feel like the enormous monstrosity couldn't reach him.
And then he sat it down on the ground with his hands on it, pondered a bit, then began trying to hone in on the signals it was outputting, finding one he could use to tap into it. He had a feeling doing so, if he could, would help a *lot*.
"Alright, you. Start squawking."

Storm and Indigo let out screeches and swears of alarm when a molten ball flew right at them, and Storm ducked and dove to try and avoid it.
Only for the thing to AIM for them, as if it had a mind of its own. It twisted and chased them before they even knew it was doing so, and hit Indigo hard. The man felt several bones crack, not even registering the heat of the attack, just the pain of several potentially important bones either moving or breaking.
He nearly slipped off of Storm for just a moment, now clinging to his friend with his one not broken arm and using his mind to guide Storm quickly away from the battle so he could regain his senses. One broken arm, several broken ribs, and his neck probably shouldn't have been at that angle.
He let out a string of frustrated curses, hoping the healing happened fast. He very often relied on the nearly hyper magic that kept him going, and now was a great example. He was still swearing when they flew out of range, and Storm just warbled softly to try and calm him, as well as apologizing for not managing to dodge. Indigo wasn't in a lot of danger but it was nevertheless an enormous pain to be busted up this bad mid-fight.
Indi made a sound of thought, watching the sight of riders being hit, and stared down by the beast's maw. "Hmm...." He was formulating some ideas.

The Stormcutter flock followed behind the faster strike-class dragons, pummeling the Tyrant's body with additional streams of trailing fire, aiming for the being's head in an attempt to blind with huge blossoms of fiery smoke rings. It reeled away from the obfuscation, and then from the liquid explosions underneath its belly, its entire front half rearing up off the ground and reaching nearly a third of the way up the cavern. The Tyrant twisted in a horrifying corkscrew and several thick flaps opened around its mouth like the vents of a desert animal or a reptilian. They began to glow brightly, and then with a gesture skyward, hundreds of molten projectiles shot up towards the hordes of dragons, like a shower of comets reversed, their tails fizzing and screaming as they chased after those mounted who had made the first strikes against her. They collided against several riders and sent a small portion of them tumbling both lifelessly and heavily injured towards the ground. Many had close calls--Daybreak roared as one of the magical bolts pierced the edge of her wing and scorched through the three riders on her back. Tree buried her burned face in her elbow as the cold air made the pain of the new wound unbearable. "Get us down to the tomb!" she yelled over the fire raining upwards past them.
"Not until that thing's away from it!" Jin was already working on steadying Daybreak and then wrapping Kendra's forearm, ignoring her own smoking pants leg, even though her own injury was just as severe. "It'll have you for breakfast!"
The water continued pouring from above, along with curtains of dirt and stone as the Construct made its final way through the hole, and gravity began to take hold. Inwardly, Nala pried Juro's hands off the seat of the chair and grab onto the handles made for steadying the pilot during sudden shocks--she figured the several-minute loss of gravity counted as one of these times. It was an ungainly first drop, legs peddling and tails slashing dangerously through the air as she fell head over monstrous heel. She used the Construct's rotating waist and neck to lock onto Kezia through the fall, and managed to tuck in her limbs enough to be somewhat diving, aiming right for the Tyrant itself.
Nio and Tezz appeared at the north and south ends of the hill at the center of the cavern, a good couple hundred yards from the action, and began doing their best to catch anyone falling without help, manipulating the water of the giant lakes surrounding them to do so. Milae and Dario stepped out into one of the side caves, nervously looking down over the ensuing battle while Virion hovered amorphously around them, ready to snatch them up the instant it sensed danger getting too close. Milae had continued writing furiously upon arriving, communicating with Moirai once more.
Yun Milae (U-00000001): Now is the time to also search for the true name of whatever beast Kezia has turned into if at all possible.
MOIRAI: ok. ok. its not IMpossible but if she fused with a demon then i need to know who that is SPECIFICALLY
Yun Milae (U-00000001): The Demiurge. That is all I know.
MOIRAI: that is so vague
MOIRAI: I MEAN YOURE REALLY COOL AND AWESOME I ADMIRE YOU THANKS ILL START LOOKING <3333

The construct fell past Indigo and Storm far faster than the two could even dive, fortunately missing them and all the others gliding or riding or flying in.
Indigo made a loud roar of his own, fueled by a crazed adrenaline of engaging something so horrifying to look at. He'd never seen something so hideous, but he was ready to give it his best regardless.
Storm built his shot and landed it almost right into Kezia's upper body while she was distracted with the construct, a magnificent and enormous explosion of purple as he whizzed by, lighting her horrific form with the hot, explosive purple flame of a fury.
He cackled happily, gave a little wave to the massive construct though not expecting her to see him, and had Storm fly around out of Kezia's immediate range afterwards.
Indi had leapt in along with the others, and with his sword out, zipped in quite fast and left what was a pretty small wound in comparison to her sheer size, but a papercut nonetheless put straight into one of her many arms.
He was fast, and he planned to use that. Leave her with hundreds of tiny nicks, at least.

Indigo let out a little growl when Lila jumped right in without hesitation, and knew this was an excellent moment to dive right in.
To prove even more how dedicated he was to helping this cause and these people. To being an ally, and one worth keeping. Worth trusting. The Indigo Phantom got to his feet with a burst and ran full speed towards the hole, Storm chasing right on his heels.
He didn't even mount the dragon, letting out a holler, almost a war cry, maybe the screech of a fury, and jumped in after the leader, his dragon companion on his heels.
They met up midair effortlessly and vanished into the red tinged void below, the wing whistle and roar of a night fury coming out after they'd vanished.
He didn't even see Indi, perched hidden inside one of the many holes in the walls, watching them, since they were going so fast.
