Not that anyone I know is still here… but hi, I’m Jess and I’ll probably never post here again. But I thought I’d give a psa on why.

Turns out the last 6 years of me “loosing weight” was due to an extremely rare autoimmune called myositis… I also have systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and these two diseases attack my muscle and connective tissue.

I really don’t know how to explain the diseases except that I’ve lost a lot of mobility/range of motion, and muscle mass, but they also tell me it can effect my internal organs and all their connective tissue as well by the fermentation/thickening causing organs to solidify and cease functioning.

Anyway… due to this I haven’t really been on here and may never come back as I navigate my new body and limitations.

Having an invisible disability has sure been rough.

Finding jobs that understand that I can’t do certain things or have to miss days due to treatments or sudden exhaustion where I can’t even get myself out of bed.

And damn I look like I’m anorexic (you don’t wanna see my shoulders) now and all I want is to look normal again.

Anyway, if any of you have questions about me or what’s going or treantments and things i go through, I’ll probably keep this app on my phone for a bit, so message me or if you’re not comfortable asking straight out with your account I’m cool with receiving anonymous asks.
