“We used those when Reece was a baby. We used them a bit for Ember as well. This is our third kid. Now, we just kind of let her find whatever she can to chew on,” Ryan joked. “Please don’t tease me with the idea. Don’t get my hopes up like this.”

“So the trial and overly cautious periods are over? But honestly, what ever works for the kid and keeps her quiet.” Rebekah said with a smile. “Is it teasing if I mean it? I’ll take the kiddos for a night sometime this week, it’ll give you some time to spend with that husband of yours I see all over social media.”

“That’s a very good point and we should definitely take advantage of everything that this hotel has to offer. They have a hot tub next to the pool, want to sneak in after all of the kids have vacated the pool complex and have a soak together?”

“You know I would never say no to a some quality and quiet time with you. But until then how tired are you from the flight? I haven’t been in the city in years so it might be nice to go out and explore a little bit. I think I sort of thrive in the whole hustle and bustle environment.”

“… do you want kids or are you just having one of those clucky moments that always seems to happen around cute kids? Even after four kids, including a baby, I still get clucky sometimes”, Lola admitted. “It’s great to see you too, although I swear it’s only been a couple of weeks since I last saw you”, she laughed.

“You know, I don’t know. I’ve never really put too much thought into it. They’re cute, but they’re a handful and I’m still trying to figure out how to be responsible for myself.” Rebekah said, her words followed by a soft chuckle. “It has only been a few weeks, hasn’t it? I guess I’ve gotten used to seeing your husband almost every day that every one else I feel like I haven’t seen in ages. I swear I see him more than own girlfriend at times.” She joked lightly. “Where is Oliver, anyways?”

“Please, I take the cake when it comes to being an angsty teenager. I have that market cornered”, Nikolai laughed. “Attitude aside, she’s doing great. Sometimes I just get a little regretful over the fact that I missed her sweet, innocent childhood days; although I know that I only have myself to blame for that”.

“Eh, I don’t know. You didn’t know me back then. But if you think so, then you should be able to relate to her, and that should help with the whole attitude thing.” Rebekah stated simply, based off her own personal experience as an angsty and hormonal teenager. “Yeah not gonna lie, you sort of fucked up on that end...but could’ve, should’ve, would’ve. At least you’re in her life now.”

“I think you should probably put a ring on Arden’s finger first, Morgan. It’s been over a fucking decade, what’s the huge delay here? I want to be your maid of honour already”

“Why spend thousands on a ring when you can spend thousands traveling the world?” Rebekah asked, answering his question with a question of her own. “Wait...she hasn’t said mentioned anything right? Has she been dropping hints and I’ve just not picked up on it?”

“You know what’s sad? The fact that you’re in a happily committed relationship, even a decade later. It sure feels like our marriage pact isn’t going to happen now”, Noah joked, plastering a look of mock-sadness on his face. “When have I ever disappointed you, Morgan?” he questioned before downing a shot and immediately ordering another.

“It is sad, isn’t it? Because I don’t think you could get any better than me. It’s okay though, you’ll always be my lover at heart.” Rebekah joked, giving him a playful smile as she began to laugh. “...Do you really want me to answer that?”

“Have you and Arden ever talked about having kids?” Lola asked curiously. 

“It never really comes up in topic. I think we’ve both been a little too busy doing this whole life thing.” Rebekah said with a nervous chuckle. “It’s good to see you though, Lola. You're looking good.”

“I can deal with teenagers no problem. I don’t think anyone could ever be as bad as I was as an angsty teenager. If anything, I might be able to relate to her.” Rebekah laughed. “How is she doing anyways?”

“Maybe you should “babysit” Aria for a few hours. Dealing with her attitude will definitely get rid of that baby fever”.

“I can let you borrow Josie for the week. She’s teething. It’ll kill your baby fever really quickly,” Ryan joked.·“Seriously though, no need to have your own kids. You can borrow mine whenever. Please.”

“Yeah, I don’t think so. I heard teething babies are the worst. Do you have one of those frozen rings for her to chew on? Heard that helps.” Rebekah suggested before laughing softly.·“You know, that might just work. I can keep them and give them back whenever. You might be on to something here, Ry.”

“It’s like you don’t know me at all. It’s sad, Fynn.” Rebekah laughed. “Don’t disappoint me now. Drink up!”

“Holy fuck, there are so many kids here. Please tell me that I’m not going to be left alone at the open bar, otherwise I might have to storm out in a truly dramatic fashion”.

“The best for the best. Besides, we invested way too much money for MU to not splurge.”

“I’ve always wanted to stay in this hotel. We tried to book it the last time that I went on tour but there weren’t enough available rooms for everyone. I shouldn’t be surprised that MU splurged on such a nice place for a reunion”.

“Emma’s only four and we just got her but… I already feel like I’m raising a teenager. Seriously, I’m gonna pick her up from school one day and they’ll tell me she’s in some sort of juvenile detention for four year olds.”
