Hi everyone,

Apologies about not posting anything at all, I have been very busy what with moving out and working all up and down the country, I kind of forgot about this blog!

A lot’s changed for me recently, a new job, my new flat and my parents splitting up, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping an eye on (and playing) a lot of games!

Halo 5 and Fallout 4 really stole the E3 show away from my perspective, and I must admit I love the look of it all, Halo 5’s Warzone looks like a really amped up Invasion gametype from Halo Reach, which I spent a lot of time on. If it plays as good as it looks then I’m happy.

The new additions of Fireteam Osiris look like an interesting take on the story too, so I’m looking forward to their paths crossing with Blue Team, also a new addition to the game saga.

And Fallout 4? With a release date this year? Couldn’t be happier! It looks amazing, and I love the Pre-War prologue, and getting that sense of loss when you have it all and then it’s gone. I do hope that the density of this game is not too much for Bethesda, and it is not a repetition of a release such as Assassin’s Creed Unity or Halo’s Master Chief Collection.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I’d love to hear them and get a conversation going.

Yeah this is right, I just got really annoyed last night. I'm 19 and a Telecoms Support engineer, and so either can't drink due to being oncall, overtime etc or because I just plain can't be bothered after work. So when I suggest a quiet night in on Friday playing GTA or Halo (Which I also rarely have time for) and get called a bumder for it I kind of get pissed off really.

Also when they all wanted to go on holiday to Magalouf or some shit party island in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, and I suggested a skiing holiday the same thing happened, though it's not like there isn't any bars or so there.

Don't get me wrong, I know it sounds like I'm bitching and moaning about my friends, whom I love dearly and some I have known for 16 odd years, but I also know what they're like, and do not want to have to babysit them at some holiday that they spent 2 grand on and won't remember.

Rant over haha

Am I the only one that doesn’t like drinking? That doesn’t feel the need to go clubbing every week to have a good time? Why is it considered boring that I feel this way?

So I've just finished soloing the Campaigns on Legendary on Halo: TMCC. I play one multiplayer game and I find that more frustrating lol

This leaked and we got our first look at the Arbiter in the same armour we saw him wore in the first three Escalation issues, he looks fcking badass! Very archaic Sangheili aesthetic.

Also, Locke appears to have a team of Spartans (note the Spartan with the red visor), and they’re looking at a hologram of the pseudo-War Sphinx that John sought out in the E3 2013 trailer.

Under a week to go until we find out the full story!

*looks at Sangheili shifting distractedly*

Thel: An insult, to be sure, but one with a modicum of respect. He was indeed my enemy, but, in time, I named him ally… even friend. The events which forged this bond are… complicated.
