Quick Update

New serialization from Sakuraga Mei: Mujihi na Yoru ni. I think I'm not gonna buy a magazine this time since the shipping cost has skyrocketed and I don't know when it's gonna end (don't want to wait for 6 years again 😂).

PS I bought Kira/Kokonoe book but I haven't read it yet. I heard the drawing style was changed drastically (and not in a good way). If that's true, it's unfortunate since we've been waiting for so long. Well, maybe it's better than having no content at all. Have to read it first.

Breaking news!!

It’s been 6 years since we’ve heard news about Kira-senpai to Kokonoe-kun from Sakuraga-sensei (2 chapters were in 2016 Hanaoto magazines). But then I saw this on Amazon.

Kira-senpai to Kokonoe-kun!! And it will be released on 5th November 2022!! If this is true, our six-year waiting will be over soon. Super excited to see how the story goes (and how many fans left, it’s been too long 😅).

Just drop by to give a quick update. Boys Kyapi this issue (released on Christmas) features a special chapter from Sakuraga Mei. I don’t have a chance to read it yet, but this 11-page manga seems to be a sequel to her earlier bonus manga. Apparently Shinonome and Kuon are cursed by unhappy Mikado!!? PS no news on new Kira/Kokonoe chapter at this moment

Bad news for Sakuraga’s fans, no new chapter this month T-T That’s not what I expected. Well, at least we have these 2-page short manga. Mikado was upset cos he didn’t have much time alone with Towa. Kimiko told him to talk to a cheerful friend so that his/her happiness will spread to him. Sorry for not translating cos I’m quite busy right now.

Hello!! Sadly, there’s no news about Sakuraga-sensei (like at all) so I can’t answer your question. Now we can only wait until she finishes her current manga, Kira-senpai and Kokonoe-kun. Don’t worry; If there’s any news, I’ll tell you ^^

Hello. Sadly it's a long long time since something was released from Sakuraga. But I saw that in the upcoming issue of Hanaoto there will be a cover illustration from Sakuraga. "表紙＆表紙図書カード全員サービス(応募者負担有り)：桜賀めい" And the issue will cost more that normal (because more pages?). With that information we can assume that, maybe, there will be a new chapter of something from her. Cross fingers for at least a new chapter with Kira and Kokone.

Hi, that’s what I expect too; I even pre-order it. Hopefully we’ll get something new cos it’s been…almost a year?…since Kira and Kokonoe last publication. BTW, the reason the magazine is more expensive than usual because the October issue always comes with the special booklet celebrating the anniversary of Hanaoto (last year edition featured Sakuraga’s 2-page manga, not sure if she’ll draw something this year). Just a new chapter would be enough tho ><

Hi, sorry for late reply (really, really sorry T_T). I’ll buy it myself since I buy all of sensei’s works. The problem is I don’t have time to translate it. My work has been busy lately; that’s why I didn’t update my blog until today. I think there’s a group or two who work on sensei’s works, you can check on their blogs/pages (correct me if I’m wrong, I have no information about this at all).

I’m sorry, but the magazine is not with me right now (it’s in the safe place). That’s why I can’t post the raw (normally I don’t post the raw cos I don’t have much chance of taking photos, except the one with Hayate and Yuzuru). I only summarize the story since there were groups translating sensei’s works. Again sorry that I can’t help you.

sakuraga mei posts a chapter monthly? or just each 2 months or something?

Normally it’s monthly (since the magazine is monthly). However, she doesn’t publish her works regularly since ‘Shouwaru Ookami ga Koi wo Shita Rashii’ (the longest hiatus is 5 months). I’m afraid ‘Kira-Senpai and Kokonoe-Kun’ will surpass that record T_T

If you’re wondering about 3rd chapter of Kira-Senpai and Kokonoe-Kun, I’m sorry to say that there’s no words about it (not a word, not at all) T_T Hope it’ll be out soon.

Edit: A kind anonymous tells me Masato’s second dialogue should be “I'll go get his permission then!” not “don’t go back on your word”. Thank you for your suggestion (for another sentence, I just don’t want to use the f word. Sorry for my stubborness).

what is tanikoubon?

You mean ‘Tankoubon’? 単行本 is an individual volume/book of manga series (typically the standard paperback format). After serialization in the magazine, all chapters will be reprinted and sold in tankoubon.
