My 2024 Album of the Year

While it only charted at #15 on my Apple Music Replay for 2024,  I Just Wanna Shine by Fits and the Tantrums was my anthem of the year and it will continue to resonate With me through 2025.

Back in August during Pride, I was posting a video to Instagram and I found this song. Not only is the music wonderful and up-beat, but then I heard “I just wanna climb to the top of a mountain standing tall when I'm howling.”  

Wow! As someone who’s been a closeted fur for over 25 years and was just starting to come into his fur, those lyrics really struck me.

If you follow me on Instagram you know that almost every post is accompanied by a soundtrack and the lyrics are always important to the content of the post or how I’m feeling.
