It's not a huge difference in numbers but progress is still progress ! I've noticed that my XL clothes are starting to feel bigger on me too. I was still riding my "3XL to XL" high and I think I'm dropping a size again!
Unfortunately, this sunday, I'm starting my period 😭 That means I can't weigh in until it's over due to bloating and hormones. I also don't think I'll be physically active until it's over too. I have exercised on my cycle before, but not only was it uncomfortable, I was just simply unmotivated and cranky 😛
Ah well, I'm so close to being in my 220's so suck it, all my bullies from elementary school!
Its been 2 weeks since I've stopped exercising. I'm not calorie counting as aggressively as i did either. It's been great! i lost 9lbs in those 2 weeks! I am gonna return to exercising soon, but not just yet. Anyway, that's all for my mini update. Have a good one, y'all!

This is the lightest i have ever been in my adulthood
I wasn't feeling all too happy lately because I gained 5lbs
I was really upset and confused because I was doing everything right. Staying in my calorie budget and having deficits, biking daily, and drinking plenty of water. I felt like crying because I've worked too hard to gain weight again.
But
I bought a new scale that measures body fat and skeletal muscle separately. Turns out it was just 5lbs muscle and I'm still losing fat :') thank god.
Okay, Im gonna start updating every Sunday. my last post was on Saturday, so starting next week, it'll be sundays.
side note and totally just to gloat for a sec: I've been super active and having fun with it, so i keep burning more calories than I thought was possible in a day for me. I remember being excited just burning 200 kcals, but now im in the 450 range daily and burned 959 three days ago. when i realized, i thought "so this is what being fit feels like"
my original goal was to be at my goal weight (160 lbs) by September 2021, but we're here and im not too upset by the fact that I'm still 79 lbs off.
don't get me wrong; i would've loved to be at the finish line already, but I'm just happy that I'm still making progress. losing 76 lbs is better than staying at my current or gaining more weight.
there's a quote I like to think about whenever I feel like I'm not doing enough or losing weight fast enough. It goes:

at this point during my jog, i was at 2.67 km (1.66 mi)
sorry for my absence, though i haven't been slacking. As of the morning of September 10th, 2021, I have lost 76 lbs! its hard keeping up a blog and adulting at the same time lol
My short term goal right now is to lose at least 39 more lbs before an upcoming convention in December.
sorry that I havent been posting :') life got a little hectic and I was off of social media for a bit.

there was a 2 month break in there when I vacationed. i still worked out, but wasn't really concerned about calorie counting. sorry 😬 I also didnt have a scale to weigh in.
My beginning measurements were
Waist: 44.5 inches
Hips: 55 inches
Weight: 315.0 lbs
My new measurements are
Waist: 39 inches
Hips: 50 inches
Weight: 264.0 lbs
I was just so excited and wanted to share 😁 When I stepped on the scale, I looked at the number and thought, "wait.. isn't this number my 1/3 goal?" I've never been prouder of myself or my body.
I've also decided to start posting my recipes here too. Eating at home rather than fast food really helps, I promise you.

hehe. the gym i usually frequent was closed due to the possibility that riotting would start in my area. but i was too hyped to just go home so i went to the next closest gym where it started storming SO BAD that we got a tornado warning! i didnt care! i just watched the trees' leaves sloshing in the wind as i walked on the treadmill ^-^
