what's your favorite way to relax after a long day?
‘I’m simple on this, a long hot bubble bath or a good movie with takeout with my best friend are the best way to relax, though it’s more likely to be after a long night at the club than day.’

on a scale of 1 - 10, how do you rate getting paid for sex?
‘10/10. Would roll around on my bed of money for you if I could. But...I’m not an escort so, I think you may have me confused with someone else, if you’d like me to find you a girl in the industry I have some great recommendations!’

What is your favorite family holiday tradition?
‘Sebastian and I have fun trying to find each other the most ridiculous and expensive present. He also buys me a crown every year without fail and I’m sure he uses the same gift tag that they are to remind me that I am a queen, which is obviously the truth I’m glad he knows his place.’

he orders another drink as the waitress jots down kat’s coffee order and leaves the table. now with a moment to think about it for himself, it is a bit odd socializing with her outside their usual activities. he leans forward and picks up the cloth napkin on the table, setting it on his lap before grabbing his fork. “contrary to popular belief, i do require the sustenance of a moderately grown man,” he responds, stabbing into his meal with the fork. “short answer’s yes.”
She sat in silence for a few moments, watching the people around them as well as taking her glances at Jonas himself, it was a strange feeling to see him outside of the Ranch or the very rare occasion she invited him over to the penthouse, though she wasn’t sure whether the feeling was a good or bad thing. Kat had always kept her distance, not just with him, she preferred the benefits over the friendship, and the rare times she did agree to dinner or even brunch like this her brother would always have something to say about her choice. Easier to just keep her distance, no hurting others or even worse, getting hurt herself. She rolled her eyes at his statement, the sharp smirk returning to her lips, “Oh the boy has bark just as good as his bite, huh?” Kat sipped at the coffee she had in hand, leaning over to steal a piece of bacon and taking a bite before speaking again, “Just not what I pictured you doing with your morning is all, too..boring.”

Kat laughed at his words and the dramatics that were a package deal, one she knew and loved at this point, his kiss to the cheek only made her smile more before she quickly shook her head at his nickname for her. There were only a handful of people who could get away with using any nickname other than ‘Kat’ with her, especially that one, “Do you forget that I’m also loaded?” She teased, rolling her eyes before nudging him with an elbow to make her point, brow raised as if expecting him to change his tune, no, she knew better than that. “You’re lucky you’re cute, know that? Fine. But don’t get upset when the place falls apart one day without either of us here!”
@fxllnangel said: “I know this whole damn city thinks it needs you, but not as much as I do.” (for val)
“oh sweetheart, you don’t know just how much everyone needs me. are you ready to shoulder all that?” a coy smirk slithers its way fore front of his features while a rests upon her shoulder. “either way, you’re the sweetest, kitkat,” val presses a gentle kiss to her cheek. “but if this is your way of telling me that i need to leave my handsomely heavy pocketed duties,” a glance is cast to someone probably twice his age awaiting him at a table of the club, “to account for this bar, i might just cry. he is loaded, kat. i could make out big with this fine fella. and he isn’t even that terrible to look at, imagine havin’ fun during one of these escapades.”

She was being stupid, there was no doubt in her mind that this was entirely reckless but then Kat had never been one for sticking to the safe side of things. Her smirk grew to a grin as he spoke, not missing the way his gaze fell on her before taking a few more steps and swinging her leg over his bike, arms wrapping round his waist and gripping tight, “Thanks.” Kats voice was quiet and softer than her usual sass, but it held that hint of mischief and mystery that she had hoped would get her the ride in the first place. It was rare to meet someone on the strip who didn’t know her face, but a little further out into the desert and she was a free woman, or at least she liked to think so. “Okay, let’s go!”
fxllnangel asked: “ i don’t know where you’re going , but do you got room for one more troubled soul ?? ”
“You’ll need to hold on tight.” Sergio explained, voice slightly hoarse and his accent thick. He continued to put on his helmet as he peered over to Kat, letting his gaze fall down her body for a moment before returning back up to her face. It was late, not terribly but the streets were quiet apart from fate music in the distance and the soon to be rumbling of his motorbike raring down the empty road. He had been intending on heading home but what trouble could a ride around down do? (in Paradise? A fuck ton of trouble, but part of him liked that threat.)

The habit of going out of her way to find trouble was an old one but one that Katerina couldn’t shake still, she hadn’t exactly expected to wind up at someones house when the night started but it had been where the fun had continued after the third bar and so now here she was, on the outskirts of the city in a house that even to her standards was too big. She had told Levi to take the night off, to enjoy himself, and though the argument was entirely more fun than it should have been, there was no surprise when one of her friends had reported seeing her car across the street. An hour later and she was walking out the door, the party slowly fading out into the late-night, or early morning - she wasn’t sure at this point, Katerina was still buzzing though for once not from any drug other than the last bottle of rum they had opened. It didn’t take her long to spark up a cigarette after pulling one out her purse, making note when she saw the headlights flicker across the driveway and making her way there, opening the door and sliding in before waiting a minute in silence, door still open as she took in what few stars were starting to come out over the lights of the city, “Can we go for a drive? I’m not ready to go home yet and you-” She paused to take another drag of the cigarette so delicately balanced between fingertips, perhaps it was reckless but then he was the one sat out there in her sports car rather than the escalade that Sebastian preferred them to use when picking Kat up, “Well you’ve been sat here all night waiting, even though I told you not to, I guess you deserve a little fun.”
@fxllnangel .
DOES LEVI SPEND 90% OF HIS DAY CHASING AFTER KAT? Yes. But does it bother him as much as he pretends? Not entirely. Here he was, parked across the street, the lavish manor illuminated by only a faint streetlamp. How long he’d been idling outside was a mystery at this point. Still, a large portion of his job description entailed acting as a chauffeur to the brunette. While she’d insisted that she’d get another member of the security team to pick her up, Levi had neglected her proposal. Thus, he’d spent hours keeping watch on the house until the raven-haired female was ready to leave. Why exactly Kat was here was beyond Levi. It was a detail that she failed to share with him. Just as he began pondering whether or not she was with another male, he spied her exiting the abode. Straightening his posture then, he reached forward to blink his headlights at her, alerting her to his presence.

SEBASTIAN SEEMED EXTREME when his sister was involved, and he wouldn’t deny that heart string was one that most didn’t survive tugging at, but that didn’t mean he was going to apologize. “The world would be just fine with one less condescending twat in it, is all I’m saying.” He shrugs as if his answer was entirely acceptable, because, to him: it was. It was very simple. The moral lines had improved since the birth of his daughter, the one they didn’t dare speak of, but it didn’t change the protectiveness he felt over all the women in his life. A dramatic sigh filtered through lips, leaning into his missed calling as an actor instead of an empire. “Fine, fine.” Waving a hand that said he would dismiss it. Just because he agreed to drop it didn’t mean that same man wouldn’t be found dead at some convenient point, but that was again, beside the point. “If you insist on playing hero to cities scum, he’s safe as can be. But, you should have at least taken his money in blackjack a few times to prove a point.”
It didn't take more than a few moments in the office before Kat had found herself perched on the edge of the desk, listening to Sebastian complain about her terrible love life like he actually cared about the details, no matter what happened she could always rely on him to have her back, even if that did come with the promise of murder frequently. She laughed at his dismissal, knowing that it would only be a few days before they were back here once more, it was better than them fighting, now that was the real blood bath. “I should, you’re right, maybe next time. Besides, wiping the smug smile off his face wouldn’t have made up for how utterly boring his life seemed.” No, she was used to the highlights of Vegas now, a far cry from her birthplace but as their mother had said, she was destined for more. “Now tell me about your night, gotta be far more interesting?”

he glances at the cover of the latest issue of National Wildlife as if needing to be reminded of the topic. turning the booklet back around to show her, he tilts his head. “you really don’t know anything about me.” he’s never made it a secret to others that he has fairly intellectual interests, despite his jesting persona. as he finishes speaking, a waitress approaches their table with the brunch plate he had ordered. he raises a brow at kat, gesturing to the plate. “are you hungry? my treat.”
“Hey, I was only asking!” Her laughter cut short as the waitress set the food down, looking from him to the plate before back at him, her own brow raising at the offer, “As great as that looks, I’ll pass. Another hazelnut latte though? That would be amazing.” After a late-night at the club and the less than amazing encounter he had interrupted, the last thing on Kats mind was food. It was rare enough that she ate anything other than snacks before the sun started to set anyway. “Do you do this often? The whole brunch and magazine thing?” There was a lot she didn’t know about him clearly, she had never really bothered to try, preferring to keep her distance especially when sleeping with someone, there was no need for emotions to make things messy.

“il y a beaucoup de choses que tu ne sais pas sur moi, belle.” the words flow fluently into the air as he puts the sunglasses back onto his face. he shakes his head and scoffs slightly at the way the other man seemed to squirm away. he picks up his magazine and his attention turns back to it, but one leg stretches forward to push back the chair that’s across from him. “take a seat, stay awhile,” he muses, licking his thumb to flip to the next page. “or is it too weird seeing me outside the walls of a bedroom?”
There were only a few times she was ever actually grateful for the persistence of the Ransome family to educate her, particularly in languages, this apparently was one of those. A roll of her eyes and Kat watched him move only enough to push the chair out for her, what did she have to lose anyway? “Definitely weird, I didn't think our whole friends with benefits thing actually meant we were friends.” That wasn’t to say she minded, evidenced by the fact she dropped her bag to the table and sat down before taking a sip of her coffee. “What’re you reading anyway? 6 signs he’ll bring it in bed?”

She hadn’t come into the office for the express intention of telling her brother about her most recent date, there were some things she knew were better kept to herself, he was protective enough without a new person in the picture. “Sebastian please if you burn a city down every time I have a bad date then we’ll have to move to Australia by the end of the week.” Kats lips turned up into a grin still, no matter how serious or ridiculous the situation he would always find a way to keep her safe and she couldn’t exactly fault that. “I only came in here to hide from him, not to ask you to put a hit out on the guy. I’d just really rather not listen to him try to teach me how to play blackjack. Apparently he didn’t get the memo that you own half the cities wealth in gambling.”
IN A MOMENT OF ROGUE SERIOUSNESS, he squints at the information that has just been handed over to him. It was so casual, her cadence doesn’t seem to change, there is no sign of struggle, but his instincts kick in easily enough. It’s the same pattern with the two of them really, the way he gets protective, and the way she urges him right into it, almost like the most irritating RSVP he’ll ever receive. “Are you serious?” Accented tone is quick to invade the silence, confusion clearly written in the way his face is always telling on him, when he can afford it to. “Because if you are, then we’re going to have to revisit the whole, please don’t make me burn this whole motherfucking city down because you set yourself up to get your feelings hurt, speech, again.” @fxllnangel
