Guys! 40 is the new 20! Read on and be inspired. #Repost @davedriskell with @get_repost ・・・ Soo, this is 40 eh? Feels pretty good so far.. just wanted to give lots of love to everyone who messaged me this week! (I’m still trying to reply to you all). I was blown away by everyone who wished me a happy bday! So what’s new for 40? How’s my mind? To be honest. I couldn’t be happier. I feel good, move decently well and still enjoy waking up every day teaching fitness and throwing some barbells around whilst maintaining a somewhat dark tan😎☀️.. I’ve had some crazy ups and downs in my life. I’ve been super successful. I’ve been poor. I’ve been focused and driven. And I’ve been lost too. As most of you know. I sold everything I had in 2012 and took the vagabond lifestyle and wanderlusted around south east Asia.. well it stuck. I had to let myself go and get away from everything I knew and thought I was supposed to do to truly find what I wanted. To open the doors to the possibilities of following the things that made me really happy. If you asked me at 25 if I’d be owning one of the largest crossfit gyms in the world and teaching daily I would have laughed. I was on a completely different path. But here I am. I’m content. I’m present. I’m doing what I love everyday. I’m surrounded by amazing liked minded individuals and I want to keep growing. Personally and within my business @crossfitwanderlust_bali .. I have a ton of new goals for this new era I’m entering. But deep down at the core of it. I still am maintaining the key things that brought me to this point. Less Stress, more sunshine, fitness, rest time, building better humans, inspiring others to make some sort of positive change to live and love their full potential. I’ve said it a thousand times. YOU ONLY GET ONE LIFE: don’t waste time not being completely happy! You have the ultimate right to be completely content. And if you are not. Implement the changes to do so! Working on my splits...I hate it when clients don’t want to stretch properly! It’s as important as the workout.. Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. This can lead to injury...
