Last year, I went through one of the toughest times ever. My mental health went to shit and I didn't feel confident in my own skin.

That's when I met my best friend Michaela.

She was sweet, kind, funny, and she helped me through my darkest time. At first, we did simple friendly flirting, nothing crazy.

But one day, I found myself thinking about her for no reason.

In a futile attempt to make sure she'd never find out, I told her I had a crush on another person, just as I have come to find out she did too. Today, we were having a sleepover, when I decided to admit that I 'used' to have a crush on her, to which she admitted she did too.

I explained how recent it was, and I found she also had a crush on me recently. We both sat there, realizing that we were lying to each other the whole time, trying to hide our feelings for each other.

It's official gng, I'm taken!!!
