As gen z I felt these good factor of social media since I felt that I was belong and made some friend virtually and I have unleashed some of my talents because of the platform that gives the opportunity to create something you loved that you can also share such as I begun to draw and have learned some techniques of it. I have gained a lot of interest in many activities and I was so drowned and entertained by these different platform. However there is also a negative effect of social media that has to involved in the mental health of a person as gen z I felt these negative effect as some of the teenager nowadays have experience some mental health problems such as, depression, anxiety, frustration, and the arising of anger issues are very relevant on these stage of age . The deadly virus has made us to forcefully adapt the new ways of living such as such as education are immobilize virtually and also interacting and socialize is also immobilize in the virtual reality. In these virtual reality some people who are using these medium has begun terrorizing the peace and the goal is to inflect harm towards other people. Such as scandals, meme that are inappropriate, hoax information, and the rapid spread of disinformation. These made the people to gain uncontrollable emotions that leads to health problems because these people who are terrorizing the social media does not held accountable or responsible for their actions. I as the part of gen z I have experience such unhealthy mind set because of the social media made me became since everything I see in the social media is things that aren’t helpful for me and made me insecure and gain the anxiety of my imperfection since there are people in social media are seemingly perfect and aren’t flawed. People are becoming addicted of social media that they can’t seem to realize that were lack of interaction of real life because our time were consumed by these tools and instead unite we are divide. Social media may seem to be for greater good for people however there is an underlying threat to it than we can see in the eyes.
