Oggi,i cardiofili si nascondono tra infermieri, poeti, studenti di medicina, grafici, insegnanti, gente di ogni tipo che però… ha un Littmann nel cassetto. O un Welch-Allyn. O un semplice testa piatta, ma funzionante.

Gente che, quando vede un tracciato ECG e sente i due toni che compongono il battito cardiaco, si emoziona come altri davanti a un tramonto o ascoltando una colonna sonora toccante.

Gente che ascolta cuori. Propri o altrui. Con rispetto, con cura, stupore.

Come se ogni battito fosse una rivelazione, una porta che si apre su qualcosa di vero.

E, lasciamelo dire, per me lo è davvero.
