If you're looking at how to discreetly worship, one way I like to do it is to devote what I'm drinking or eating to the gods/spirits. While eating/drinking, I try to focus on the flavours and textures as well as the one/s I'm devoting it to (easier said than done, it takes more effort than expected, at least for me).
I'm pretty limited to what I can give as an offering on an altar, so I find this works really well.

New Moon in Capricorn - January 11, 2024
This post was posted 8 days early over on my Patreon! Be sure to follow me on Patreon for free to be notified when I post new content, or when I make important announcements!
This is a successful period for career development and long-term planning. You may be feeling extra ambitious to tackle new projects, or finally gather the courage to go for the new promotion or job you’ve been looking for.
Your emotions will be moved to the backburner during this time, however. You may be feeling more guarded and there will be a breakdown of communication between your heart and your head – try not to dwell on these inner turmoils, and be wary when spending time with others who may not be understanding of this emotionally-absent period.
Your energy is best spent on patience and self-control, and investments and long-term plans. Plus, a little self-care never hurt anyone!

What does “success” mean to me?
How can I re-evaluate my finances to better suit my goals?
What is a project I’ve always wanted to start, but was too scared to? What small steps can I take to begin that project?
Spells, Charms, Rituals & More
Successful Growth Jar Spell
This spell is a lot like a sourdough starter – keep feeding it and as it grows, so will your success! This is very similar to a money bowl, but in my opinion, it’s more like an altar that you can constantly work on and change. Plus, it kinda looks like those vases from the 90s/2000s filled with neon sand art, so… that's a plus.
Materials
A large, tall jar (I'm using an old pasta jar)
Rice for abundance
Bay leaves for wishes, luck, manifestation and abundance
Coins and/or dollar bills for abundance
Ground cinnamon or cinnamon sticks for success and abundance
Pecans and/or walnuts for success
Paper
Pen or pencil
Permanent marker
Instructions
Take your rice and layer a good amount at the bottom of your jar, maybe an inch or so. This will be the “foundation” of your spell, and represents the beginnings of your success.
Next, write on a few bay leaves what the “seeds” of your success will be. For example, “time”, “energy”, or “commitment” – things that will grant you the success that you want. Bury them in the rice.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon on the rice (or, shove sticks of cinnamon into the rice). This will represent your efforts to grow your success.
Lastly, sprinkle walnuts or pecans on top. These pieces will represent the “buds” of your success; the beginnings of your rewards.
Now, as time goes on, with each accomplishment you make, write it down on a strip of paper, fold it up, and place it in the jar. With patience, the jar will continue to grow until it is overflowing with accomplishments and successes.
Walnut Charms for Prosperity
Materials
Whole walnut(s) for prosperity
Whole cloves for prosperity
Bay leaves for wishes, luck, manifestation and abundance
Rice for abundance
Super glue or twine/string
Golden metallic paint and a paintbrush (optional)
Instructions
Carefully open your walnuts and clean out the shells.
In each shell, place cloves, crumbled bay leaves, and a few grains of rice.
Charge each shell by meditating, with a candle, or however else you see fit.
Once charged, carefully superglue or tie the two halves of the shell back together.
(Optional) Paint your walnut with gold metallic paint.
Leave on your altar and carry the charm with you when you feel the need for some extra prosperity. Once you feel it has done its job, you may bury the charm in your backyard.
Other Ideas & Considerations
Paint your nails gold or green
Carry cinnamon sticks and/or bay leaves with you or in your wallet
DIY your own wind chimes to carry in good luck
Great time to begin any long-term workings you might be considering

✶*✧Introduction to Spell Sealing✧*✶
Everything must come to an end.
This is an area of spellcraft that doesn’t get a lot of publicity because for most people it just becomes a natural part of the process. However, if you want to mix up how you do it, try something new, or otherwise let go of the way you were originally taught, this might be a good resource for performing rituals!
What are Sealed Spells?
In the context of magic you usually hear about sealing and binding like binding a person or something from being able to do something. Here we're talking more like a binding contract. This is a binding or seal locks in an action or intent. It is binding in the way an agreement is binding. You have given it firm parameters that it must follow and you have endeavored to finalize the action. You have provided certainty, locked in your answer, sealed the deal.
The benefits of this are inherent in the finality. You have a set thing that now is much harder to alter and is much harder to waver in its purpose. This is no longer some multi-purpose object. It has varitably been christened for this and this alone. The work to undo it will be just as rigorous as the work to do it in the first place. A light cleansing of your materials afterwards might not be enough. You're gonna need the spiritual bleach.
To some extent you might just feel that something needs to be finalized. If you feel it in your gut like you need something to formally end the working, these are what you might be looking for.
More Common Than You Think
This might be more familiar to you than you would initially think. Signing your name on something at the end is a common one, but even in a ritual sphere there are many examples. This is going to be your “so mote it be”, your “Amen”, and your other declarations of finality. Even purely secular situations often have rituals of finality. I think you’ll find that when these things are left out, there is sometimes a feeling of the energy hanging in the air. In a lot of ways it does not feel right. Whether this is the social convention of signaling to everything and everyone present that the ritual has come to a conclusion, or just to announce you’re finished, there is some power to it.
Types of Seals
There are several different ways to express finality in your workings. Here are just a few examples.
Shutting the Door and Sealing the Envelope
If your work involves some kind of lid or package, you can physically seal it. Whether this is corking a jar, sealing with wax, tying a string around something etc. If this is a possibility it is a good way to finalize a spell.
Written and Spoken Seals
Whether this is through signing something like you might finalize a formal contract or expressing that it is finalized verbally. A few examples of this are listed above that you may have heard before, but there is really nothing stopping you from making your own.
Kiss Seals
Sealing with a kiss. Kissing something to finalize has historical precedent and takes no extra tools to complete besides your lips. Whether this is physically using your lips or the other means, this is one option for a quick seal. Just don’t kiss poison.
Burning, Burying, and Bestrewing
Few things are more final than destruction. Once you’ve set the flame, you’ve pretty much confined what you’ve set on fire to that purpose forever. Burying something in the ground would be another example of this. Whether you feel the finality is from returning it to the earth, or because you are sealing it in a tomb of soul, this will certainly signal that it is done. Some feel like things are not complete until they’ve scattered the ashes, in which case throwing something to the wind could be your version of finality.
Whether this is through signing something like you might finalize a formal contract or expressing that it is finalized verbally. A few examples of this are listed above that you may have heard before, but there is really nothing stopping you from making your own.
Sigil Seals
An extension of the written or spoken seals are sigil seals. It accomplishes much the same thing, but can be a little more formal. Some might think this is kind of a stretch, but wax seals, like what might go on a letter, could fall into this category, technically.

House Spirits
Hello! Today we're going to be talking abour house spirits because I recently saw a post about them and they are often overlooked when it comes to spirit work.
What is a house spirit?
A house spirit is, as the name implies, the spirit attached to a house. Sometimes this can be a human spirit, a home guardian, or the spirit of the physical building depending on the house and its history.
Why are house spirits so important, and why do we so often overlook them?
House spirits are the very essence of the home. Do you appreciate the roof over your head? Do you appreciate the physical and energetic protection your home provides? Do you enjoy the comfort of youe home after a long day of work? You have your house spirit to thank for all of that. Unfortunately house spirits often get overlooked because people are more interested in "flashy" spirits, like angels, demons, deities and the like. We often dont stop to appreciate the house or nature spirits that make up most of our world.
How can I start working with my house spirit?
Get in communication with them! Use any divination method or just speak out loud to the house while no one is home and see if you feel an answer
Keep the house clean and maintained, physically and energetically. Even if house witchcraft isnt your main thing, house spirits love it when you show appreciation by taking care of them
Give the house spirit offerings
Say hello and goodbye to the house spirit when you come or go
Name your house
Offerings
If you so choose you can provide your house spirit with offerings to keep it strong and happy. This can be done anywhere in the home but in the kitchen or near the hearth is ideal. The "heart" of the home.
Some good offerings are...
🏡 Water
🏡 Wine
🏡 Mead
🏡 Milk
🏡 Sweets
🏡 A portion of your meal
🏡 Music
🏡 Cleaning
🏡 Anything else you feel your house spirit would like!
In Conclusion
I hope that after reading this you learn to appreciate your house spirit more (:
Happy witching! Blessed be!
