LatteDragon here again. Former artist (between February 2024 and May 2025), former art director (between June 2025 and July 2025). Long time staff member indeed.

CJ deleted all of the staff resignations from the staff discord (that I left a few days ago), and said it’s “inappropriate to post them in the main discord” (the same thing he said when staff walked out in March), ignored the main discord for days while DMing people, and still owes me $781.00 twenty nine days later. I don’t give a shit about my NDA and screenshots of private communication because you violated my contract on multiple occasions. But of course, you’re only upset about violation of contracts when it’s against your favor.

You want to talk about things that are inappropriate, CJ? Let’s talk about the way you treated me when I put in my resignation and thereafter.

I quit because I live with my 72 year old father who is developing Alzheimer’s and there is no more pay off (gratification or monetarily) any more for working here, and it was in my best mental health to leave.

The moment I became useless to you, you treated me like shit. After I’d been by your side since I was hired in February of 2024.

Friendship means nothing to you if you have no gain from it.

Do not work for this man.

Hi all - I’m asking for some community spirit and good to come out of this mess.

One of the (currently unpaid) artist’s beloved pet is going through chemo and the Santae money was being used for his treatment.

She’s not comfortable posting on behalf of herself, but I’m posting her links with permission to share them.

Now that Santae is gone it’s going to put her in a tough spot, if anyone has spare $ and goodwill she’s a WONDERFUL artist who does comms and would greatly appreciate any support. Thank you for reading. Will miss this community.

If you were a previous artist for Santae, I strongly encourage you to share some commission or fundraising information in the Santae tag. It would be really lovely if as a community we could come together to show some love to the people whose hard work made Santae appealing in the first place! I still hope that they can get paid and don't expect passing the plate to replace that, but the site shutting down means that they do not have a continuing income and that will definitely hurt.

Day 2: Neverlake

I think it would be interesting if Sonic and Amy revisit neverlake again and it's sorta like history is repeating itself except now they're both different people so the end feels just as unlikely as it does inevitable and they're not sure what that might all mean.

Y'all know that one meme of the tank being dumped off the ship saying "I go kill submarine for the motherland"?

If not, here it is:

The origins behind this image are utterly fascinating.

This is not a soviet built tank despite what the meme implies, it is actually a chinese built tank, a T-69-2 to be more specific.

What you don't see in the image are the further 24 tanks that are also on the barge about to dropped into the water as well.

These tanks are being dropped in on personal orders by Queen Sirikit, the queen mother of thailand.

No, for those worried, this was not them discarding old unusable tanks, at least in this instance. Rather, each of these tanks have selected and prepared to make an artificial reef. Rather than melt them down for scrap, in 2010 there were pushed into the water off the gulf of siam to create a home for hundreds of sea creatures. All the internals are gutted, including the engine and transmission, don't worry.

If you looks a little closer into the image, you'll see that all the hatches are open or removed, probably to make room for sea life.

Y'all find this as cool as I do, right? Like, this shit is just so damn cool. As a wee bit of a tank nerd, it does make me sad that these are being dumped never to be seen again, but at least their still being used for something rather than being turned into tin cans.
