Scrambling noises are heard from offscreen as Kirby rushes into the frame, only to be stopped by Meta Knight's hand. His body makes a sad squeak noise on impact, like a dog toy. Meta Knight sighs, resigned, and lowers his hand, allowing Kirby to cling to him happily. He then pats him twice affectionately.

I’m a bit of a sucker for the trope of characters getting turned into a baby/young child and I came up with a funny little oneshot idea for KRBAY.

So NME gives Dedede a drink that’ll turn into whoever drinks it a young infant,and tells him to give it to Kirby so that he’ll be more weak and vulnerable. Dedede and Escargoon set up a dinner for the castle staff (and Kirby ofc),Meta Knight and Tiff are obviously suspicious so Meta Knight switches his and Kirby’s drink when Dedede and Escargoon aren’t looking. The dinner ends and everyone goes to bed.

The next day arrives and the trio + Dedede and Escargoon are woken up to a scream coming from Meta’s room. They rush to said room to see Sword and Blade looking shocked while Meta Knight’s armor is laying on the ground with a small lump in his cape,Tiff lifts up the cape only to see a dark blue creature with small bat wings who looked very similar to Kirby..
