First time ever making a text post 🔥 I just wanted to talk about a scene in parrot’s latest video it was just SOO GOOD AGHH

Also spoilers for Hunting a Minecraft Player Who Doesn’t Exist !!!

For context it’s this one but to summarize it’s the scene where parrot makes the deal with Leo that he’ll quit hunting the director if Leo helps him save derap and jumper

The entire scene including all of the stuff before it (that I cut to keep the video brief lol) was honestly really beautiful and touching and I really felt for Leo in this moment because you can sort of just hear how worn down he is from everything that’s happened to him/BAT while they’ve hunted the director. I feel like it was very easy to be frustrated with leo and how he’s treated parrot before this scene, but after it, I felt really bad for him, and I could understand where he was coming from with him just being so done with the Director after everything the Director did to BAT and not wanting anything to do with the Director and Parrot as a result.

I also really love how you can see Parrot’s growth in the scene through the way he speaks to Leo so earnestly with his promises and shows that he genuinely cares and pays attention to Leo through saying “Leader of BAT, Leader of that.” I feel like it shows he’s trying his best now to actively show that he actually does care about Leo/BAT and that he’s not just teamed with them for his own self-interest.

But I really wanted to touch on this moment specifically because something about it just really struck me when I first watched it and I want to share my thoughts on it.

FIRST OF ALL I just LOVEE how you can hear how Leo’s voice sort of comes alive when he says “Actually?” in response to Parrot saying he promises to quit hunting down the Director if Leo helps him. You can really hear it especially when you listen to some of his lines right beforehand, where you can really hear how drained/done he is with everything related to the Director. The line delivery was just SOO GOOD IN THIS SCENE, and I just want to compliment it because it made me feel really emotional to hear Leo go from completely exhausted to alive. Major props to Leo and Parrot :D

I also think it’s really interesting that Parrot chose this specific promise too as the one he would tell Leo. I think that Leo becoming excited about a promise related to Parrot quitting his hunt of the director shows that Leo doesn’t actually hate/dislike Parrot as a person, but instead he hates what pursuing the Director has done to Parrot by making Parrot so obsessed with discovering the Director’s identity that he ends up hurting his friends in the process of trying to achieve his goals. To Leo, Parrot giving up on pursuing the Director means that BAT won’t ever have to do anything related to the Director again, and that means that no one in BAT (including Parrot!) will ever be hurt again by the Director or his plans and that everything can go back to (semi) normal.

But now, with the identity of the Director revealed, I wonder if Parrot will really keep his promise to Leo and quit his pursuit or if he’ll go back on his word and keep hunting down the Director. Knowing Parrot, I feel as though it will end up being the latter, and if that is the case, I wonder how Leo is going to take it. I feel like he definitely wouldn’t take it well, but I also don’t exactly see him being as upset at parrot as he was in this episode. He would probably just be frustrated but calm: he understands where Parrot is coming from but he can’t keep doing this anymore with chasing down the Director. This would likely end up with Parrot leaving BAT and going off on his own, but I really hope that doesn’t happen because I love BAT so much I’d be so sad to see them go D:🙏.

To conclude, I’m super amazed by Parrot and Leo in this scene and they did amazing acting it out/delivering their lines and gave both characters a really necessary reconcile that helped them both. This is definitely my favorite scene in all of Unstable so far because it’s just so emotionally charged and beautiful.

Bro when he had revealed the dog not being parrots I was so genuinely happy about being correct. I was acting like a crazy person. 🤣 but yea no was vaguely expecting something to have broken in Wifies but not this damn badly.

i think what's great about the director reveal is that we ALLL were hoping and figured it had to be wifies but absolutely none of us could have predicted this reasoning because in what world is wifies just straight up a yandere to parrot this is so fucking crazy. NOBODYYYY was guessing it was gonna be so wifies could protect parrot in the most evil fucked up way possible. no one was guessing wifies was gonna threaten to kill parrot's friends. NO ONEEE was guessing wifies was gonna do all this not to get revenge on parrot for treating him the way he was but to prove a point to parrot in the most traumatizing way possible. the toxic yaoi is endless the toxic yaoi is REAL. we're so back.
