Tributes, Please Read

I understand many of you are disappointed in how things have turned out. I understand that it is hard to watch a good friend lose out, or lose out yourself when you put in so much time, energy, and effort. And it may not seem fair.

However, there are three Gamemakers for a Reason. No one Gamemaker has more power or influence over how a fight turns out. In fact, there have been a few cases were some of you HAVE escaped planned death because of your creativity and your writing. There can be only one winner. Sometimes, you die. Sometimes, you win. 

Kotori, Ivy, and I have spent a lot of time planning and putting together these Games. We want them to be fun for everyone, to be challenging, and to be DIFFERENT. It honestly hurts us when people give us such good feedback, but when something ideal doesn't happen, people's moods change.

So I ask you to give it a chance. Remember what YOU signed up for. This wasn't created to be easy. They were created to test and push boundaries, in a fun way. I'm sincerely sorry if it's effected anyone in a serious manner, or put tensions on friendships. That was never the intentions of the Gamemakers. But as Gamemakers, we refuse to bend our rules and make compromises, because that is unfair to the others. This last Situation especially, we received some fantastic submissions, even from the people who died. But the Gamemakers stand by their decision. Sorry if this disappoints you. I really hope you remember why you enjoyed these Games for the first Three Situations.

I'm one of your tributes but I don't know if I will be able to continue with this because I don't have a lot of time and I feel really bad about not devoting time to this but I would feel bad leaving.

Well, your next task will be Situation 1. Hang around until then and if you can't do it, well, write poorly.

What would happen if a tribute couldn't be in the games anymore and needed to leave? Would they be allowed to leave?

The Gamemakers cannot control your actions. We are too far along in the process to find a replacement, as the Tributes will be entering the Arena very, very soon. You may always decide to not submit your Situations, which is a cowardly thing to do.  But it would mean your death.
