I love Game of Thrones, both the books and the HBO series. I would like to explore characters, places, etc. in a shortened as possible way (hence the tldr). This will include both information from the books and show.

House Stark
Religion: Old Gods of the Forest

History
Ethan Glover was a member of House Glover. He was the former squire to Brandon Stark.
When the news of Lyanna Stark's abduction at the hands of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen reached her brother Brandon, Brandon took off for King's Landing with several companions, including Ethan. King Aerys II Targaryen had all men arrested at the Red Keep for threatening the life of the crown prince after Brandon had demanded that Rhaegar "come out and die". The fathers of Brandon and his companions were called to King's Landing to answer for the crimes of their sons. All but Ethan were executed.
Robert's Rebellion started shortly thereafter. At the end of the war, Ethan joined Lord Eddard Stark, Brandon's younger brother, when he marched south to lift the siege at Storm's End. From there, he accompanied Eddard to the tower of joy. He was slain at the tower of joy during a fight with the last three members of King Aerys II's Kingsguard.

House Glover
Sigil: An armored silver fist on a scarlet field
Title: Lords of Deepwood Motte
Region: The North
Seat: Deepwood Motte
Allegiance: House Stark

History
House Glover of Deepwood Motte is a noble house from the north, and is among the principal houses sworn to Winterfell. Galbart Glover is the Master of Deepwood Motte, which is located in the northwestern wolfswood. Houses Bole, Branch, Forrester, and Woods of the wolfswood are sworn to the Glovers.
Their blazon is silver mailed fist on scarlet.
The Glovers ruled as First Men kings after the Long Night, but they were eventually reduced to vassals by the Kings of Winter from House Stark.
Jorah Mormont's first wife, chosen by his father Jeor, was a Glover of Deepwood Motte. They were married ten years, and she died after her third miscarriage. Ethan Glover, who was Brandon Stark's squire and went to King's Landing with him to challenge Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, was the only one of Brandon's companions to survive. Ethan later died at the tower of joy.

Members
Lord Galbart Glover, Lord of Deepwood Motte, and former head of the family. Died in the War of the Five Kings.
Lord Robett Glover, Galbart's younger brother and successor. Current head of the family.
Lady Sybelle Glover, his wife.
Gawen Glover, their son and heir.
Erena Glover, their daughter.
Ethan Glover, with unspecified relationship with the main branch. Killed during Robert's Rebellion.

Household
Larence Snow, the bastard of Hornwood, is fostered at Deepwood Motte.

Ancestors
Lady Gilliane Glover, married to Lord Rickon Stark, Lord of Winterfell, with whom she had a son, Lord Cregan Stark.
Lady Lyanne Glover, married to Lord Willam Stark, Lord of Winterfell, with whom she had a son, Brandon Stark.
Sworn Houses
House Bole
House Branch
House Forrester
House Woods

Military
House Glover commanded a sizable military before The War of the Five Kings started. They could raise about 3000-4000 men due to House Glover controlling the majority of the Wolfswood. At start of the War of the Five Kings, Lord Galbart Glover answered the call of Robb Stark.
It is still unknown how capable House Glover is in terms of warfare but it is likely experienced since Lord Glover led the vanguard against Jaime Lannister during the Battle of the Whispering Wood. However, the Red Wedding, significantly weakened House Glover. The capture of Deepwood Motte by the Ironborn alienated Robett Glover from House Stark since his family was captured when the castle fell. The castle was reclaimed from the Ironborn by Glover's remaining soldiers and the Boltons. This led to Robett rejecting Jon Snow and Sansa Stark's request for aid to retake Winterfell. After the Battle of Bastards, House Glover's forces consisted of about 500 men when Lord Robett Glover pledge his allegiance to House Stark once again.
Glover soldiers were easily distinguishable from other Northern soldiers, their helmets resembling the Stark helms that have pointed edges. Their uniforms consisted of wearing iron chestplates as well as wearing distinct black skirts. This may be possible since House Forrester provides Ironwood and therefore making the and their vassals able to afford better equipment.

In the battle by the Lakeshore along the western Gods Eye, Lord Dustin's Winter Wolves charged at Lannister spearmen five times, with more than two-thirds of the northern force killed or wounded in their victory. Roddy the Ruin also sounded the charge in the Butcher's Ball which claimed the life of the Kingmaker, Ser Criston Cole.
Roderick died during the first Battle of Tumbleton while leading his northmen against Lord Ormund Hightower. Although Ser Bryndon Hightower chopped off Roderick's shield arm, Lord Dustin was able to slay both Hightowers before dying himself.

Barbrey Dustin
“Lady Barbrey is a woman who knows how to nurse a grievance. Be grateful for that.” - Roose Bolton

Title: Lady of Barrowtown
Culture: Northmen
Spouse: Lord Willam Dustin
Allegiance:
House Dustin
House Ryswell
History
Barbrey Dustin is a member of House Ryswell by birth and House Dustin by marriage. She is the Lady of Barrowton. She was born into House Ryswell as the younger daughter of Lord Rodrik Ryswell.
Barbrey is the surviving daughter of Rodrik Ryswell, Lord of the Rills, and is the sister of Roger, Rickard, and Roose. Their sister was Bethany, the late second wife of Roose Bolton, Lord of the Dreadfort.
Brandon Stark, the eldest son of Lord Rickard Stark, often rode the Rills while being fostered at Barrowton with old Lord Dustin. Infatuated with the heir of Winterfell, young Barbrey had an affair with Brandon, who took her maidenhead. Lord Rodrik hoped to wed his daughter to a Stark, but Lord Rickard betrothed his heir to Catelyn Tully of Riverrun. Barbrey claims Brandon did not want to wed Catelyn and that the betrothal was the idea of Walys, Rickard's maester at Winterfell. Rodrik then hoped to wed Barbrey to Brandon's younger brother, Eddard Stark, but that was not to be. Barbrey instead wed Willam Dustin, the young Lord of Barrowton.
The abduction of Lyanna Stark by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen led to the executions of Brandon and Lord Rickard Stark by King Aerys II Targaryen in King's Landing. Now Lord of Winterfell, Eddard returned to the north to call his banners for Robert's Rebellion. Not yet half a year into marriage, Willam rode off to war against Barbrey's objections. Barbrey gifted him with a fine red steed, the pride of her father's herd, and Willam swore he would return to her mounted on the horse.
Willam attended the wedding of Eddard and Catelyn at Riverrun during the war, and he accompanied Lord Stark south after the siege of Storm's End. Lord Dustin was slain in the combat at the tower of joy, however, and Ned built cairns for the fallen. After the war ended, Lord Stark returned Willam's steed to Barbrey. She bears a grudge against Eddard, who brought the bones of his sister, Lyanna, to Winterfell for burial in its crypt, but not the bones of her husband, Lord Dustin, to Barrowton.
As her husband's widow, Barbrey continued to rule Barrowton in her own name. She was fond of her sister Bethany's son, Domeric Bolton, who served at Barrowton for four years as her page. Since Domeric's death in 297 AC, Barbrey has nursed suspicions about Ramsay Snow's involvement.

Appearance and Personality
Barbrey is tall, unbent, and handsome. She has wrinkles around her mouth and eyes, and her hair is equal parts brown and grey. She wears her hair tied behind her head in a widow's knot. She usually dresses all in black, but she sometimes accentuates her attire with vair. Her gown has a high stiff collar.
While intelligent, Lady Dustin has grown into a bitter woman over the years. Her personal banner flying over the keep of Barrow Hall quarters the spiked crown and crossed long axes of House Dustin with the golden horse head of her father, Lord Rodrik Ryswell.
Barbrey is distrustful of maesters and refers to them as grey rats.
