do you have any plans to continue the Antagonist Neo AU? had alot of fun reading it, though i haven't finished the whole thing, maybe someday also curiously speaking, are there parts in the AU or generally anything that you take inspiration from Ace Combat? (again im curious about this, if there is then that would probably give me more reason to continue reading this AU)

I do not currently have plans to continue the Antagonist Neo AU. But introducing my fan-interpreted Legendary Super Wings made me reflect on what I should have implemented long before I went into an indefinite hiatus.

Also, I did not take inspiration from Ace Combat for my AU: it just simply popped up in my head on one random afternoon.

hi, im GammLaz! you can call me gammy, gamma, gamm, or anything else you wanna call me

im a high school graduate that has a passion on writing and conceptualizing alternate universes, particularly war fiction. One example of this is the one that I have been working on, which is Scarred Wings, an alternate universe of Super Wings that leans on military/war fiction with Ace Combat/Project Wingman style

Sigma moment

Imagine World Airport in flames, a battle had took place.

All defense forces were being pushed to their limits, All Super Wings near you were exhausted, overwhelmed by the enemy.

The enemy's closing in, ready to storm the airport in a matter of time.

All hope seems lost, until..

Reinforcements came.

As a result, you decided to take the reign, to fight, to do the final charge to expel the enemy from World Airport.

Morale is on an all-time high. Those around you, Super Wings or soldiers alike, previously exhausted, now shaped by your words and your undeterred spirit to fight.

And with the final words of "CHARGE!!!!", they listened and fought tooth and nail, never before seen.

The skies filled with missiles and smoke, the ground filled with bullet spray.

Until there is no more.

The enemy had been expelled, the charge has been successful. Victory is at grasp. World Airport is safe, for now.

But, out of all that, at what costs?

The Super Wings being forced to fight? To bear missiles, guns and flares when they don't even want to? The morality and ethical problems of making something its purpose is to help the world, turned to burn the world?

Maybe there are other Super Wings out there, those belong outside of World Airport? Maybe there are those who were made for war, instead of the ones we knew that were forced to wage war.

Or.. does the world knew all along, the secrets of these flying machines?

Jett thought all of these questions as he was lying down unconscious as a result of an explosion near him. The constant flow of questions, and the unbearable fact that the world might've known about them and are actively trying to rewrite what they are made for, what he's made for, whether or not it breaks his morality and his purpose.

Just as he's about to continue, he was made conscious by an echo,

"Jett, wake up! We did it, the fighting is no more!" It was his partner, Dizzy, who woke him up.

Jett, barely opening his mouth, "Y-Yeah... We did... How's everyone..?"

"Most are alright, some are suffering from bullet wounds and we lost a few as a result," Dizzy continued, "All of us fought to the last because of you, don't forget that."

"What about the others?"

"Jerome suffered the most and is in need of repair, since he did the most heavy lifting than all of us, even Paul was outmatched."

"I see... thanks for telling."

"By the way... you seem kinda, off. Something wrong?" Dizzy's suspicion flared.

"Maybe.. When I fell unconscious, I felt like I had a dream or something.. a reflection where us kind were beginning to be used like this. There may be more to it, but.. I forgot most of it."

"Hmm, I understand.. but we're the victors right? You shouldn't be ashamed."

"Yeah.. We're the victors alright. I just reflected on why we're doing this.."

"We have to, Jett."

"Yeah... I think so."

They were the victors, but one thing is for certain,

The world had known about them, and are constantly on the move. For better or worse, the good name of the Super Wings will be forever changed.

And through this, I hereby present my most ambitious project yet, an alternate universe where the the super wings are weaponized, leaving a mark on the world.
