Ah, Valentine's day. A wonderful holiday to spend with your sweetheart or make art of some ships that you find cute. I am right now working on a long awaited chapter for an 'x reader' story that I started almost a year ago and never had time to continue writing it (curse you, my overfilled schedule). However, last Monday, I got a little creative with some construction paper and ended up making this. It's supposed to be young Zuke and Eve. I'm honestly surprised that it ended up looking pretty good, so I hot glued it to some paper and used my phone to edit in a quote that I found off of Pinterest. Happy Valentine's Day, y'all!

See the Neon Light: Jai Reference Sheet

Okay, it is 2021 and I officially have zero self control over myself tonight. It took me some weeks to put this together (and then the weeks turned into months thanks to learning about somethings on the NSR wiki. More on that later 😉) it is of course not quite finished as I still need to color in Jai.

I have seen enough interpretations on what others believe he looked like as a human; this is my interpretation. I think when he was younger, he had somewhat of longer hair that is sort of shaved on his right side and it has another color on the tips, like Zuke's hair. In my au, he wears it in a ponytail to keep it out of his face. His sideburns and eyebrows are done in a way that I believe he had when he was in college. His clothes are actually Mayday and Zuke's old clothing, the sweater and shoes being Zuke's and the thin sweat pants being May's. (I wanted to give him a choker, but it didn't work out.)

In this au, Jai befriends Ellie. She likes to play with him and follow him around. We know that he has that floofy scarf when he is a cyborg, but here the scarf is replaced by (drumroll provided by Zuke) ELLIE! She loves being around Jai's neck. Not only does it give her a higher view point, but it also serves as the perfect excuse to nuzzle against his face and occasionally lick it.

Finally, below I drew what Jai looks like after spending only a week serving the army. I also decided to make some facial expressions for him, too.

I was going to draw what he looked like immediately after the clock transformed him, but I ultimately decided to do that in another picture. So, what do you all think? Please leave any comments you come up with.

Okay, I have waited long enough and have finally managed to grab some time to actually post this. I wrote this back in October because I was afraid someone else probably would of done this. I have not seen anything yet and I just wanted to wait until it was the proper time of the year to post this. See the Neon Light (NSR au)

Heya everyone! Guess who just came up with a new au idea for a game? No Straight Roads has definitely grown on me, including a certain war veteran, sonar-head cyborg.

This au takes place 4 months after the ending of the game. Mayday and Zuke look at the collectibles they achieved after fighting against the NSR artists. Zuke attempted to fix the melting clock that Tatiana gave them. However, he was unsuccessful so, he decided to turn to someone who has had more experience with such mechanisms, Neon J.

Although, J had not considered the ‘magical’ properties of the clock. With one small mistake, resulting in the cyborg having his body to be transformed back to the way he was before he even went to war. Of course, he tried to handle the situation himself by first choosing to return to Barraca Mansion.

Unfortunately, said mansion ended up being blown up by some unknown force ‘cough Kliff cough’. Good news, J was not in or near the mansion when it exploded. Bad news, 1010, his sons troops, were! Despite not being noticed by the public, Mayday and Zuke, who came to see what the commotion was, did recognize him. With nowhere else to turn to, J now stays in hiding with Mayday and Zuke in their sewer home until they find a way to turn him back to normal.

I realized that when I was thinking about creating this au, it was inadvertently following the sort of same pattern as the ahit Oh the Humanity! au. The only differences in this au is that it is a 26 year-old man (I have chosen to believe that in-game NJ is 52 and he joined the war when he was 26) living with two young adults, one being rambunctious and the other being relaxed.

In this au, J will go by his old human name, Jai. Other characters will come along in time. There will be a subplot in this au, but I will reveal that information once I have more of it thought out.

So, what do you guys think of my au idea. Please let me know your thoughts and if any of you have questions go ahead and ask.

Working for 21 hours over the course of 2 days almost non-stop, I patterned and created Neon J in plush form! :D He’s both machine and hand sewn with glow in the dark accents using fabric paint, as well as removeable/poseable limbs!

I’ve been planning to make this for a couple weeks now, and now that I finally have i’m super happy with the result! I plan on doing some more plushies next weekend so stay tuned for those next :P they won’t be as nice as this one but they’re still going to be cute!

Hey y'all. So yeah, I just recently started looking into the game No Straight Roads and have immediately been yeeted into the NSR community. The game is quite charming and it has some incredible characters to boot. With characters like this, it has made me think of a crossover that I have heard no one else suggest. I would create it myself, but I already have other plans in mind. Now without further ado, here is my crossover idea: A Hat In Time X No Straight Roads!
