GA Reflection

I did not get to finish my Genre Analysis and therefore not turn it in, first of all. What i did complete though, was very interesting to write. I was doing an analysis on the movie Friday, basically about a young man and his pot smoker friend living in south central California. This fell under my topic because it was about Marijuana and Pop culture, like how weed users are portrayed. Because I was writing about it, I analyzed the movie in a more clear perspective, and it really helped out my writing because it made me see things through other lenses. I do, in fact, see value writing about genres because, for a change(in college) there is no opinions involved. Not yours, at least. -jacqueline alcantar
