Updates - 17.04.2021
Hi everyone! here are a few updates.
Plant boi is doing well, he likes his new pot a lot. He's making loads of new leaves!!!

Angie is doing amazing as well. She's developing new leaves at light speed and I've bought two sticks for when she's going to be taller so I can put the vines somewhere.

I've potted the two new sprouts that I tried to propagate. Esmeraldherbe, the little one, already has some roots and I'm not sure about Ghislaine, plant boi's daughter, but she's not dead yet so I'm hopeful. I'll post something when she'll be growing some more. I'm planning to give it to my friend.

I'm glad everything is going well and I hope that it will stay like that. I feel great taking care of all these plants.
Thanks for reading and I'll see you soon :)

Journal entry - 06.04.2021
I’m back and I have loads of news.

First of all, Plant Boy™ is doing amazing, I neglected to repot him for a while but now he’s in a new, bigger pot. He was not growing much probably because of the lack of space.

I removed one of the leaves that was growing a bit next to him because it was wobbly and put it in water, now let’s hope it grows some roots. My plan is to give it to a friend once it’s in a new pot and growing well. I also took a bit of one of my family's plants to try and make it grow some roots.

Now, everybody, please welcome Angie!!! She looks like a small monstera and the label would make you think that she is one but it is incorrect. She’s actually a Raphidophora Tetrasperma. She had two leaves that were completely rolled up but they are unfolding nicely. I think she’s doing well and I’m looking forward to her growth.

Another newcomer is this small Fittonia, that I found just lovely. It’s yet to be named. Those leaves are mesmerising and it looks really cute. I repotted it as well as Angie because their original pots were a bit small. I’ve asked my friends for names and I will get back to you as soon as I find one.

The next one is new to me, but it was in the living room for a while. According to Judy from HousePlant411.com it’s an Alocasia Cucullata. It looked cool and I think it goes well with my other plants. I have to find a name for it as well.

Now, looking towards the future of my indoor botanical journey, I will very soon, as soon as I can get some sort of support for it, get a Monstera Deliciosa in my bedroom. Very original, I know. I don’t know if it needs repotting, but I will look it up. It actually belonged to my grandmother, whom I never knew so I’m really glad to have it and I can’t wait to take care of it.

As mentioned previously, I moved a couple of weeks ago, and the new layout of our house makes it so that the living room is right next to my bedroom but my parent’s bedroom as well as their office space is on the other floor. That means I get to take care of the family plants! And they definitely need some care. I watered them today and removed some dry leaves and I’m looking forward to repotting some of them and find nicer pots. The living room is yet to be organised because we have to make some further renovations to the house so for now they’re all on this shelf, except for the big ones.

One of the big ones is a lemon tree which looks dried out but it's actually making new fresh branches. I hope it can grow nicely and maybe give us some lemons.
I’m really happy to get back into gardening and it makes me feel really good. I hope I will have the time to take care and stay informed about all of those plants.
In the meantime, thanks for reading and I hope to get back here soon!

Updates! 13.08.2019
Unfortunately, Barry passed away a while ago now. He had a good life, I tried to rescue him but he was already on his way out... R.I.P. Barry 💚
Now for the good news!
PlantBoy is alive and well! He even gave a few sprouts here and there! He’s a little scratched thanks to my cat but I took care of that and now my cat doesn’t have access to my plants anymore.

And give a warm welcome to La Table, the newcomer! My mum and dad gave it to me recently and I found a potholder just the right size! Let’s hope for the best

Ok, I moved Plantboy and Barry away from the window because apparently the cold is killing them 😞
Barry is looking grim, his leaves are so purple and the “bark” is quite dry, even though I water him correctly…
PlantBoy is doing alright, and I believe he is quite tough

Plantboy is doing well, he lives on, not too moist, not too dry, he’s not difficult.
Barry is recovering, I overwatered him a bit but he’s fine now, his leaves are turning purple. Is that bad?

Cucumber the Avocado refuses to show any sign of life, I’m starting to believe that cucumber is not alive

Hello and welcome
This is my first post on my gardening journal. I don’t think I will post daily but I’ll try to keep posting often enough. For now I have 3 plants. PlantBoy, a sansevieria trifasciata, Barry the Bonzai who is actually an Aeonium, and Cucumber, an avocado that still has to grow.
Keep gardening
