5am... the witching hour... my eyes are bloodshot as i scroll through online thriftstores, looking for garfield plush and merch to add to my evergrowing collection
i find one. beautiful. amazing. it is from the 70s and wearing a cute shirt. i type out a message to the seller, pretending to sound casual: "what a cute little guy! i'd like to buy him please :)"
the seller doesn't know i am surrounded by an army of garfield plush as i type this, humming and mumbling under my breath. they must not know or they might increase the price, or worse... take him away from me...
