Another KOSA update:

Sadly, it is true that today, 04/10/2024, KOSA has been introduced to the House BUT! That doesn’t mean it’s game over just yet!

Proof:

Friendly reminder that there is much less support for KOSA in the House than the Senate. And even if it does pass the House—God forbid, it’s not over until the President signs it.

Here is the phone number for the Committee that’ll be holding the hearing on April 17th (Use the top number), and of course keep calling your Senators & House Representative.

I know this is scary for a lot of people, but we have to keep fighting. Please spread this around & don’t give up!

I need us all to be aware and awake at all times. As elections approach you are going to see many misleading headlines, it hasn't gone unnoticed by those in power that the average usamerican at the very least sympathizes with the palestinian plight. Please put in the work of actually reading past headlines, of researching what is being done. Ask yourself: is it enough? why until now? can I expect them to keep on doing this once my vote has been cast? And again please, please spend more than two seconds reading a misleading headline.

I've seen this headline be passed around as a win. It is not.

Those two are not the same things. Kamala Harris is saying she wants a 'cease-fire' which implies a finality. A permanent end to this genocide, something potential voters are asking for. But she's actually proposing a 'pause' a six week pause. Don't let them fool you. Keep pushing.

every single time israel fires on people picking up food or humanitarian aid it truly cuts me to the core. obviously it's equally horrible to fire on civilians escaping the invasion or to bomb hospitals or refugee camps or people just living in their own homes. but there's something so brutal about hitting people right when they have gathered for life-saving aid. by firing on them there the IOF have set up an impossible dilemma where starving people have to choose between death by bullet or death by hunger. they have left no room for palestinians to choose life. i do not know how my government or any other government can just sit by and watch while innocent people continue to be gunned down for the crime of existing in israel's eyeline.

The 3 responses it gives you when you scan/search items. Searching isn't as effective as scanning since the most recent update unfortunately.

reminder that bisan is only 25. reminder that motaz is only 24. it may seem like months of siege have aged them beyond their years, but at the end of the day they’re both in their early 20s—and yet they’ve both witnessed enough death and destruction to last them a lifetime. they deserve to see and live through a free palestine. all of palestine deserves to see and live through a free palestine. keep calling your reps and pressuring for a ceasefire.
