CONTEXT:

I work as a contractor social media manager for a bakery that’s been around for a decade— it’s run by two sisters, both my bosses.

They are both horrible at replying to emails and texts, regardless of whether it’s a time-sensitive question I have about the content I’m producing. Horrible like either replying three days later, or not at all.

I’ve sent them a group text asking to make time for a zoom call so we can discuss content strategy for their instagram, but neither of them have replied and it’s been over 24hrs.

I have to remind myself that not everyone is as responsive to emails and messages as I am (I never go that long without replying, especially if it’s to my bosses at whatever job I’m doing)— but this is beginning to piss me off.

Is it me? Am I being too picky about this? Or am I right to be annoyed?

Help me settle this so I can feel less weird about working for these people.
