simply cannot ever resist what i call the little mermaid or the tin man or the pinnochio plot, the one about a character who is either inhuman or human but outside in some way, constantly searching for whatever it is that they consider to be the quintessential proof of humanity, preoccupied by it so deeply that they fail to realize the proof is in the act and fact of the search itself

friend 1 dies so friend 2 and friend 3 go their seperate ways out of grief and isolation tendencies and decide to go on a journey to figure out how to bring their friend back and friend 2 created essentially a clone while friend 3 brings the body back to life so when they go and meet each other again like “omg i have great news!” “omg so do i” they both show up with the same guy.

im not even tall or anything but i am of the opinion that all sinks are just slightly too short. maybe raise them another inch or so. something just feels off about them.

they’re absolutely not going to go back and do an sa1 adaptation so i really don’t see why they didn’t use tikal in that knuckles series instead of pachacamac. especially the idea of having her guide knuckles away from a warrior mentality and maybe into just being a protector or something instead. she’s literally a guiding spirit in sa1. idk i think there was a better path they could have gone down for knuckles and his warrior ways.

in theory i understand what they’re trying to say but like… the sonic games aren’t really a sports series nor is any aspect of it really comparable to a sports movie so being inspired by a sports movie & similar is bizarre. general comedies sure but sports comedies? yes that’s weird
