Legacy Collection Splash Screen

Since EA did the bare minimum, just removing "The Complete Collection" text from the old splash screen & called it a day - I made a new splash screen for the Legacy Collection.

Includes a default 4:3 (800x600) version, and a 16:9 (1920x1080) version

Download

Legacy Collection Install - Drop "setup.bmp" into the "Maxis > The Sims > UIGraphics > Logos" folder.

Complete Collection Install - Create a new folder in "Maxis > The Sims > UIGraphics" named "Other". Place "setup.bmp" into this folder.

Remember that animation I mentioned 6 months ago? Here it is! It's not perfect by any means but it's my first time animating so it's okay 🥴 I'm just glad my Mac made it out alive lol. It took 28h to render because apparently blender removed the option to render with GPU on Mac :-))))))))

made in blender 2.82.7 rendered with cycles, 715 frames edited in photoshop and put together in premiere credits: rawpixel for the fabric texture fwstudio for the wood texture heiko hellwing for the butterfly texture maxis for the tragic clown and the chair thanks to: simpose, milkshape and blender
