chapter 1

We start our story in an apartment where our characters were enjoying the last bit of sun... or at least whiskers was, the yellow cat was lounging under the living room window lying on a bean bag the others had gotten her just for the reason that she tended to lay in the sun whether there was a couch or not.

The others were also in the living room. Denali sitting on the couch reading a book, the book's name was 'The night they flew' Denali really liked cliché romance novels the husky's tail wagged as she reached a scene where the main character was promising to never hurt his love.

Gear was on the floor reading a transcript of a comic the comics name was 'The warriors: Armageddon' it was in a series of comics that all sorts of kids enjoyed, gear was lucky this one he was reading wasn't even released yet. (he had it as he was the owner of the studio that had made the comic) The border collie chuckled as he read the comic. he was reading it not for fun but to make sure that the book would meet up to standards other books had, but gear didn't want to admit that he was reading for work.

Finishing the last page he yawned "gosh we sure did have a fun day" Denali looked down from her book and smiled saying "awww your exhausted huh? Well, you did have a big day, we went on a walk, played fetch and even had a picnic" whiskers stretched and arched her back, giving a gentle yawn. "Yes it's been a lovely day" seeing the summer sun had set she added "now I think it's time for a well deserved rest, don't you think"

Gear getting up off the floor sat next to Denali "mmmm sound good" he said as he snuggled up against the husky and added "thank you for letting me be in little space today... even if it meant you had to change my stinky diapers" Denali laughed stoking his fur and replied "pup please me and whiskers don't mind that stuff it's what we signed up to when we promised to always take care of you. Whiskers examining her paw spoke up "we'll in that case Denali next diaper change is yours seeing as you don't mind"

Denali replied by giving the cat a glare that said in its own way " you're going to f***ing regret that, you wait you'll see" "but I agree with Denali were here for you pup" said whiskers ignoring the husky's stare

"thanks guys" gear said feeling safe with his carers. "Now I think it's time for bed baby" Denali said picking up gear and carrying him to bed. Whiskers watched as they departed biting her nails she thinks to herself "he'll be alright.. he will won't he?" She said as she let her hand drift to her belly.
