      suzaku wasn't one to talk, why would he be the one of everyone to tell him about running? he didn't want people to know about his identity and yet, his so called 'best friend' found out.

lelouch clicked his tongue in annoyance, "don't speak to me about running away, suzaku." he knew how much he wanted to die, so much he had to use his geass to command him to live. it was his only choice.

      not hard to read? perhaps she could tell him what he was thinking, if it was about school or his secret life? "oh? pray tell what can you tell about me." purple hues stare down at her, waiting for her to tell him.

while he waited, lelouch thought of many possibilities to handle the situation just in case she found out. he didn't exactly want her to know, not until he felt ready (which may be never).

      he was only the replacement, the one when he forgot about his sister. did they really share the same birthday or was it just false? either way, lelouch accepted rolo, even if he already knew he wasn't his brother. "i didn't forget your birthday, rolo." his heart felt indifferent towards him, yet there was some warmness, his own brothers weren't ever like this. his hand extended to have him a gift, it wasn't much, just a pictured frame of the two of them together.

It didn't mean much--probably--to Lelouch, he knew that. But he couldn't bring himself to believe that, not when Lelouch had already offered him something more. Something more valuable than material things...

Taking the frame and looking it over, he felt a warmth swell in his heart. When was this taken? Didn't matter, it existed, that was good enough for him.
