I have always found it so difficult to pick a favourite character of any CR campaign.

I see a man who loves his family and who leaves ass shaped grease spots on doors and I think that Vax is my favourite, but then I see the woman who keeps the group alive and mostly sane and I think that Pike is my favourite, but then I see the man that laughs so much so that nobody realizes how hurt he is inside and shaped himself up for the people he cares about and I think Scanlan is my favourite, and then I see the woman who wants nothing more than to be accepted and still manages to make herself belong anywhere and I think that Vex is my favourite, and then I see the man filled with complete sincerity and fun and I think that Grog is my favourite, but then I see the man who went through hell and somehow came back being able to accept himself and his mistakes and I think that Percy is my favourite, and then I see the man who was thrown out by his father and found out that money doesn't mean anything without people who love you and I think that Tary is my favourite, and then I see the woman who was so insecure in the start and ever so slowly the love in her life picked her up and carries her on for the next thousand year and I think that Keyleth is my favourite.

I see the woman who could only cope by lashing out and who found a way to channel that into something productive and I think that Beau is my favourite, I see a man who grew up alone and then lost his mentor and still manages to find the light and be who he deserved to be and I think that Fjord is my favourite, I see the woman who just radiates love and kindness and always sees that best in people but is still so smart and calculating and I think that Jester is my favourite, I see the person who woke up alone and still manages to wring every last drop of happiness out of his life so much that the people who knew him are forever changed and I think that Molly is my favourite, and then I see the woman who died and lived a life that was not hers so she could be the protector of the people she loves and I think that Nott is my favourite, and then I see a man who was so deeply hurt by authority figures and doesn't cave and becomes better and helps the next generations and I think that Caleb is my favourite, and then I see the woman trapped by what she used to be and find her way through the storm to be who she always needed to be and I think that Yasha is my favourite, and then I see the steadfast man who is always there to be a shoulder to cry on that will give you advice and tea and I think that Caduceus is my favourite.

Even this early in Bell's Hell's I am already torn between them all from Imogen's strength, and Laudna's unrelenting kindness, and Cheney's stubborn but honest character, and Orym's constant quiet steadiness and grief, and Ashton's clear unwillingness to actually let themself be happy, and Fresh Cut Grass' genuine desire to just help people, and Fearne just being chaotic, and I can't choose a favourite.

I think it's impossible to pick just one character to hold above all the others when all of them have so much life in them

my dad always tells me that when he’s with people bragging about their kids’ accomplishments and such he goes “yeah but are they like ....cool?” and the parents always give him a confused look and he goes “are they cool? my kids are so cool. i love hanging out with them.” and it always throws people off and i think that’s so funny and sweet like i may be a fucking idiot with just about zero accomplishments but at least my dad thinks i’m cool
